“Stratford Theatre Goer”

Clean and convenient, The Blue Boar provided an ideal countryside location for a short stay in the Stratford area. It was close to the town - with its restaurants and theatres - while being far enough away to provide some of the beauty and quietness of the countryside. The staff were friendly and helpful. The only 'downside' to our stay was that we had to ask for some more sachets of milk to accompany the tea/coffee making facilities in our room.

Area recommendations
Stratford on Avon - which is nearby. It has some great restaurants (I'd recommend 'Lambs' in Sheep Street by the way) and some quite nice theatre.

“Hotel restaurant, isolé à la campagne, proche de Stratford-upon-Avon.”

Bon accueil, mais si vous allez dans cet hôtel refusez la chambre 11. L'extracteur de la cuisine vous empèchera de profiter du calme de la campagne anglaise de 7h00 à 22h00, à corriger impérativement. Panne d'eau chaude le dimanche matin. Franchement dommage. Coté restaurant c'est très bien: plats proposés originaux et traditionnels. Petit déjeuner anglais, conforme à nos attentes.

Area recommendations
Oxford à 1h00 de route. Musées à Birmingham. Région de Coventry, chateau de Warwick.

Retirer de l'argent un maximum en un mini de fois aux distibuteurs, afin d'éviter les frais de votre banque. Environ 5,30€ pour 200£. Evitez les bureaux de change.
