We have stayed at the Alveston Manor many times over the years and always enjoyed our stay. We were disappointed to discover that there is now a £5 parking charge (which covers a total stay). This is to prevent non guests from parking in the hotel, but the rooms are not cheap (the suites especially - it was a special occasion for us) and we felt that this could have been either hidden in the cost or a token given to guests to prevent them from being clamped by the independent policing company - bad show Macdonald Hotels! We stayed in the Queen Elizabeth Suite, which had been redecorated and updated since our last stay. As it is on its own in the grounds it is lovely and quiet, there are 2 rooms above the suite but we never heard any noise. In the past we have stayed in the standard rooms and found them to be acceptable. The breakfast is lovely with a great selection, we did not have any other meal in the restaurant as to our mind it is quite expensive and not to our taste, but others may not share that view. The staff were very helpful and friendly, we would definitely recommend this hotel and use it again.
I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Billesley Manor. The hotel is outside Stratford-on-Avon so is quiet. The building is lovely and the facilities enjoyable. The staff were attentive and the whole experience made my first visit to the area, most enjoyable.
The hotel is absolutely gorgeous. We got upgraded and had a very large room, which had a Mac computer in addition to the other things that you'd expect. However, there was no safe or mini-bar and some of the furnishings and fixtures in the bathroom were looking a bit tatty around the edges.
The place is centrally located. it is just a few steps away from the tourist info. center, River Avon, the Shakespeare Theater, and the center of town. The inn keeper was very helpful. We arrived midday and he let us checked in hours earlier. The day we left, he let us leave our car there till 2 pm so we did not have to look/pay for parking elsewhere while we were touring the town. The breakfast was good. We will book this place again.

"Impressive building, grounds, spa & great staff!"
This is the second time I stayed here and I'm very pleased with the atmosphere, comfort, food, and most of all the staff who are friendly, efficient and welcoming. The spa is lovely with beautiful views over tree tops, the pool just the right size and temperature. This place blends traditional decor with modern comfort particularly well.
