Upon arrival I checked into my room. I had booked my room through expedia and it called for a spa tub. The room assigned to me was a handicapped room with a walk in shower. After 24 hours of plane travel I was exhausted and sore. The counter staff explained that when you book 3rd party you are not guaranteed a spa bath (Even if you paid more for it!). I was very distressed by this. I suffer from arthritis and needed to have a tub to soak each night. Despite the hotel being full for a convention, the manager took the time to move things around and give me a room with a spa bath. During my stay the staff was very helpful with shuttle service, directions, and making sure in every way our stay was a great one. I cannot express how much I appreciated the time that manager took to find me what I needed.
The hotel staff were the most efficient, helpful and friendly that I have experienced for a long time. From the front desk to the cleaning crew, they were exceptional. They have a shuttle that will take you to a restaurant for dinner so you don't have to drive in a strange city in the dark. Everyone was great.
Arrived in early afternoon with cargo trailer. Generous parking. Free WIFI. Room was comfortable. Poorly placed bathroom lighting for use of mirrors. There were three wedding receptions, and we were told that we may hear the music, but that it would stop at 11:00 pm. The music in the large outdoor tent stopped promptly at 11:00 pm.
After a quick check-out we were briefly detained by a staff member who said "Your check-out didn't go through." When we returned to the desk, we were told they stopped the wrong people.
Good: Room was big, clean and bright, equipped with a nice kitchen, Hotel was close to shopping malls and grocery stores (Macy's, Sears, Stop & shop, Walmart), free wifi, parking and breakfast were satisfactory
Bad: Breakfast was not an actual breakfast (coffee, fruits and cookies)
