“Four star hotel at 3 star price”
The Novotel was within walking distance of all the tourist attractions I wanted to see in Warsaw, as well as dozens of restaurants. The hotel could be seen from the train station and is an easy 2-3 block walk. Room was clean and comfortable and the clerks at the front desk spoke excellent English and were very helpful with info on tourist attractions and bus routes. I highly recommend this hotel.
“Good location, small rooms”
This hotel is at the center of the city with very convenient transportation possibilities. However, rooms are too small that you can't even breathe. I would recommend for the ones who needs a good location.
“Good Hotel, Good Location, Great Price”
It's hard to complain about a Novotel. The room was clean and comfortable as you would expect. Service was fine. Breakfast was decent with a good selection. I was there on a weekend and got a great weekend rate. Best thing for me was location. 10 minute walk to train station (I was coming and going by train) and there is a Metro stop right outside the door. Only one complaint (half complaint, really). I thought my booking said wifi internet in the room. They only have wifi in the lobby but have internet using a cable in the room. The only problem is that you must sit at the desk to use internet (I prefer to sit on my bed but the cable would not reach). However, I must say that using the cable provided me with the fastest internet I've had in months of traveling so I can't complain too much. AND - I forgot - internet is free. I found slight cheaper weekend rates at some of other big chains in the area but when you add in their ridiculously excessive internet charges (some as much as $20) the rates at Novotel are better. FYI - there are 2 cinemas within easy walking distance of the Novotel with English language films. The cineplex in the Multikino Złote Tarasy shopping center just north of the train station (with Burger King and Hard Rock Cafe) is exceptional with enormous screens and very comfortable seating.
“Novotel Centrum Warsaw”
Excellent hotel and staff was fantastic.
“ok hotel, not so good breakfast”
this hotel (and most in Poland) had a fabulous breakfast before it was taken over by Novotel. Their goal was to drop all delicious Polish dishes and make it as generic as possible. Now you cannot tell if you are in Warsaw or in Omaha Nebraska. Food is quite bad. If you want a fab breakfast go to Polonia just across the street or to Marriott few minutes walk away. Otherwise hotel is fine. I would stay here again if the rate is significantly lower than Polonia or Marriott.
“A good”
My only complaint is that the telephone service was very spotty. People calling me could not get through sometimes or were put o hold and then disconnected. Otherwise, the hotle was quite good.
“Excellent hotel in the center of the city”
Great location.
“Good Location”
Good location, near transit, shopping and railway station. Restaurants and shopping nearby. Quiet from street noise. Only issue I had was that the hotel originally put me in a Standard room, although I had booked a Superior room through Expedia. Manager was kind enough to give me a free breakfast for the hassle I went through for changing rooms.
“Not overly impressed, wrong room, "hot" breakfast was cold and under-cooked.”
Arrived at the hotel, looking forward to getting to the "Superior" room which I'd booked and sleep. Got to the hotel, waited 20 minutes in a line of 3 to check-in. Then went to my room, which was a box and not the room I'd booked. Called reception who tried to tell me I'd booked a "standard" room, which I then proved was in fact, wrong as I had the booking in front of me. I was told there were no other available rooms, but I would get free breakfast. The breakfast was not good. The "hot" buffet was cold and under-cooked. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone and would only stay again if it was the last hotel available in the location.
“very nice hotel and grate location”
all in this hotel are excellent
