“Just excellent”

From all points it was just excellent except It is not however easy to find if traveling by car. The directions say " turn into hotel through yellow gates ".This is misleading as it would be more appropriate to say turn through yellow archway.The barrier will lift automatically and you can park in the courtyard or use the hotels secure car park.

Area recommendations

We ate 3 nights running at C K Oberza which was 5 minute walk away.Good value authentic and not touristy. Also nearby a Carrefour express M&S and local a deli. The city is fascinating with lots of history. Use your guide book an explore.

“Superb hotel and location. Will definitely go back.”

The suite was beyond our expectations with huge rooms, two bathrooms (one with a jacuzzi tub), kitchenette, flat screen TV, and a walk-in closet. The three of us stayed there for 8 nights and the price was very reasonable. Everything was within walking distance. Very nice ambience!

“Comfort, value, and great location”

We were impressed with the stylish lobby and in-room furniture, and the generous floor plan (there was a bath and a half in our room!), and very comfortable bed. The hotel is located on a courtyard just steps away from Nowy Swiat - which offers a lively street scene, excellent restaurants, and ready access to the University, Old Town, and the central train station. Mamaison Diana is definitely our top choice for a hotel whenever we return to Warsaw.

Area recommendations

We love the Old Town and University area, and all of Nowy Swiat. We also enjoyed the Embassy area just south of Jarusalemski on the extension of Nowy Swiat. There are marvelous old buildings, sidewalk cafes, and lively crowds.

Getting around

Use the trams! They are frequent, easy to catch, and make it easy to get all around central Warsaw, including the trip in from the airport.

“Location ! Location !”

In the heart of Warsaw . Walking distance to all important historical places. Lots of good restaurants in the neigbourhood. Our studio apartment was comfortable and clean although the carpets should be refreshed. The hotel charges for local phone calls . Be careful - it is expensive !

Traveller's tip

If you are travelling by car the place is hard to find . Call ahead and ask for directions. Hotel staff speaks English.

“Das Hotel ist von der Lage zu empfehlen.”

Sehenswürdigkeiten sind gut zu Fuß zu erreichen. Das Zimmer war angenehm groß mit umfangreicher Ausstattung. Die Auswahl beim Frühstücksbuffet ist etwas spärlich (ungewöhnlich ist, das der Kaffee einige Tage nur in Form von Instantkaffee und Heißwasser angeboten wurde).

“Ottimo hotel in posizione nascosta”

La suite superior che abbiamo prenotato era veramente all'altezza della descrizione. Ambiente ampio, servito e molto pulito con tutti i confort possibili. Presenza di un secondo bagno. La principale difficoltà è dovuta alla sua posizione nascosta: la struttura non è visibile dalla strada ma l'accesso si trova in un cortile interno in una zona pedonale (abbiamo dovuto chiedere aiuto a numerose persone). C'è la possibilità di parcheggiare l'auto nel cortile interno o nel garage sottostante l'hotel (raggiungibile con l'ascensore) con supplemento. Sito in una zona pedonale ma distante dal centro storico della città comunque raggiungibile a piedi in circa 20 min. Nei pressi dell'hotel ci sono numerosi ristoranti e negozi. Consigliato.

“heerlijk rustig plekje midden in centrum”

Het was een heerlijk appartementje met alle comfort, in één pand met het Goethe Instituut. We kregen alle hulp bij vragen en men heeft ons geholpen bij het huren van een fiets. Het gebruik van een fiets is echt aan te raden, want de stad heeft alleen bij de rivier een groot hoogteverschil.
