“terrible service, stay away”

great location and nice rooms and general property, but the service was very poor i asked for a bed sheet at around midnight and was told they did not have one. when i insisted they brought me one within 5 minutes. there was a general laziness here, much easier to say "sorry sir" or "no we don't have" then to really try to provide 5 star service, which at the end of the day is what you are paying for. they won some awards a couple years ago and it appears that they are now resting on their laurels. another illustration of their poor service: I asked the reception to arrange for a car with driver for the day. instead of calling one of the many rental car companies they called a taxi company. they told me the daily rate they had negotiated with the company, which I agreed to, but when the driver dropped us off at the end of the day he printed out the receipt from his meter and insisted we pay about double the agreed price. we were sure we could recoup the money from the company once the hotel spoke to them and clarified our original agreement. when i reported this to the reception they could not produce the person who had made the agreement and they told us that there is nothing they can do about it. there handling of the matter was extremely irresponsible and it left a very bad taste in my mouth, since I never spoke to anyone at the taxi company and was relying 100% on what the reception told us. This episode I think sums up the kind of service you might find at Le Regina.

“Absolutely Lovely hotel, with efficient staff”

We only stayed one night with our young baby....but the hotel staff were very accomodating with every need we had.....the room was really cosy, comfy and very well maintined.....I would defo stay here again if I ever came back to Warsaw.....the restaurant food was delicious too....!

The old town was lovely, but as it was November...rather sleepy!!

“A Wonderful Place to Stay in a Wonderful Neighborhood”

This small hotel was a very peaceful place to return to and the staff was always helpful and accomodating. If a particular inidvidual could not answer a question, s/he would find someone who would be able to provide accurate info. Some services that the hotel offers, such as taxi services, can be obtained less expensively if you know the right local and trustworthy cab service(not all are in Warsaw). I also recommend eating out in one of the neighborhood restaurants rather than dining at the esxpensive hotel restaurant. However, this was a lovely incredible place to stay in a wonderful safe, soothing, and tranquil area of Warsaw. I would defintitely stay here again-just lovely.

“Nice and quiet”

The hotel is really nice and quiet. Located a little bit on the outskirts of the Warsaw Old Town but with good road connection to the center of the city. Getting there by car you must remember that on working days from 8 AM till 6 PM there is very difficult to find place to park your car and when you find any at last remember to pay for it. The room had enough space but was very short of facilities you nowadays find in almost all hotel rooms ie. glasses, free mineral water and so on.

Area recommendations

When you stay at Le Regina it is nice and safe place if you like to have a walk just before sleep. As I mentioned above it is located near Old Town so the distances are very short and architecture let me say ' very friendly'. No hustle, no crowd day and night. Of course Warsaw is Poland's capital so you can find the info about it almost everywhere.

Traveller's tip

Le Regina with its specific characteristic (good traffic connection but away from the center) may be some of quiet oasis during busy day and wonderful possibility to rest after a hard working day (no city noise outside the hotel even that lazy, lovely atmoshere everybody likes).

Excellent stay. Extremely memorable meal (4 course gourmand) Ideally situated. Friendly, courteous but unfussy service. Receptionist showed us to our room herself!

“Lovely stay”

The hotel is in a fantastic location, within a stone's throw of the historic heart & close to many lovely restaurants. The staff couldn't be more helpful, and the hotel itself is luxurious, airy & just a lovely place to relax after the hustle & bustle of the day.

“The only high class hotel in the old town”

I was very impressed. The building, the hall and the room were all very elegant. The overall environment was comfortable and discrete. The organization was perfect and all the personnel were very kind quick and professional at the same time. The other guests were quiet and not noisy. Definitely, a place to go back to!
