“Avoid”
I went there on December (it's very cold in Warsaw). There was no heating, no shampoo, no internet. I reported it 3 times, very minimal heating. They had run out of shampoo and shower gel. The fourth day we got shampoo. They run out of soap the third day. There is a shop across the street to buy essentials ;) In contrast, my friend's room was boiling hot. He had the window wide open AND the door wide open. No way to control it. He had no shampoo/soap/internet either. The reception said that a guy was freezing/working on the roof to fix the internet. LOL. Sob story. Communist era service and style. Miserable bar and restaurant. I gave up complaining the first day.. We kept going to the bar of the Hotel opposite (Sobieski) but I could not move there, it was full....
“Good Basic Accomodation”
I Found the staff super helpful and the room clean. Location was convenient - bus 175 from airport runs straight past.
“no airconditioning in summer”
no airconditioning in summer. I was there end of august for 3 nights the room cooling did not work at all. tried all options, complained and everything. the front desk does not care about this issue. on everything else they were helpful warsaw is a great city though. a MUST VISIT place.
“never again”
a hotel with two standars, one reasonable and the other terrible; my reservation was for the later; absolutelly no service, the restaurant buffet run out of food 1.5 hrs before closing, internet connection free but almost inexistent. very small bed, terrible TV mainly in Polish, bath linger weared.
“I will return for sure!”
The receptionist seemed a little to "cold" at the day I arrived, but other than that, the service was perfect.
“Top value accommodation”
Although graded 2 star, this Campanile hotel is well worthy of at least a 3 or 3.5 star rating. Here are just a few of the more important pluses:- 1) Beds and pillows are good quality and very comfortable. 2) Room and bathroom both spotless. Both good size. Public areas are clean 3) Free Wireless Internet access - unlimited. Useful when you want to stay in on a rainy and windy afternoon. 4) Airconditioning in room and in public areas 5) Free water dispensers on each corridor. 6) Breakfast (optional extra) : good value and reasonable choice, although obviously does not have everything. But why pay more elsewhere? 7) Underground monitored parking: good value. 8) Location : the Ochota district is only 2-3 tram stops from the centre of town. Easy connections to all over town by public transport.
“ok hotel ok location”
The reception and the room is up to good international standards. The price is good for what you get but the breakfast is poor choice and too expensive.
