The owners were very welcoming & made us feel at home. This B&B is among the very best we have stayed in, and we wouldn't hesitate to return or recommend it to our friends.
The breakfast was scrumptious & the home made jams added that little extra.
We stayed at the Old Bell for one night. We'd travelled to Warminster for a family party and got so much more than we bargained for. The Old Bell was still open when we got back from the party so we joined in the dancing. The pub had a lovely friendly fun atmosphere.
Stayed 2 nights for our daughters birthday for easier reach of Longleat. Staff were welcoming, family room was spacious, big breakfast too start the day! Quaint 'villagey' feel to the inn as well as the local area. For us it was everything we needed. Thank you.

Food choice a bit limited as we do not eat meat, but we had fish on both nights. On the second night we were served sea bass which was not on the menu. They made it specially and it was delicious
We chose the Walnut Tree Inn because it was close to Longleat and Stourhead and we wanted to stay in small villages rather than cities on our trip. The Inn was on a quiet street, the room was larger than some we had and was comfortable, the bathroom was nice and the food in the pub downstairs was good.
Had a lovely stay at the Red Lion, the location was beautiful, the hotel clean and lovely, the staff wonderful and the service was prefect. Felt like I'd just got home after a long drive. Would stay there again in a heart beat.
