“Good Hotel on a Budget”

From the budget point of view, it is a great choice. It is close to the airport, almost walking distance but a bit too far from the center of Salzburg although there is a bus next to the hotel that goes to the historic section of Salzburg(15 Minute drive). The room was clean and simple.

“Impressed for budget hotel”

Very good for budget hotel, conveniently located for large group. Very friendly staff and helpful.

Area recommendations

The nearby restaurant (recommended by hotel) was very good value with charming salzburg ambience. Salt mines are must see apart from from Salzburg usual sights.

What to pack

We missed out on seeing the world's largest ice caves as we had not packed the right clothes.

Very nice and new hotel. Staff friendly and resourceful. Close to bus stop and shopping center. Very easy to get into center of Salzburg from bus. Business to family oriented hotel. Good restaurants nearby or McDonald's for a quick meal. O

“Clean but not convenient”

We were pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness of the hotel. The price was good. The room was also very small but did accommodate 3 adults and 1 pre-teen. The issue was the location unless you were looking specifically to stay close to the airport. English is a bit of a struggle for the employees but it is Austria not America but that did cause some issues when it came to directions and requesting services (i.e. asked for an iron and got an umbrella). They were good about getting taxi's and for printing out train times. I would have appreciated them helping us with some tricks of getting around like the best way to purchase train tickets at a minimal cost. I found out at my next destination that I could have purchased a special ticket for our group of four at 1/3 the cost. This should have been provided by the train personnel but I would have really appreciated if the hotel employees would have given some insite. The hotel in Germany provided that informatin right away.

Closer to a bus station. The busses were very convenient but need to be closer to a bus stop.

Clean and good accessible hotel. Perfect for short stay.

Salzburg is very nice sity with rich history. Historical center is quite small and nice to walk in. Near mountains and lakes are beautiful too.

“Nice hotel , shame about the add on prices and beds...”

Good hotel, it is what you expect. My only grumbles are the comfort of the beds, one night (a bad night as it was) on this rather hard bed with one pillow has left me with shoulder pain that has taken 3 days to feel normal again. Also, dont buy any bottled water, very expensive... the stuff that comes from the taps in the room is cheaper and probably contains just as many minerals! Breakfast is pricey but there was a good selection!

Area recommendations

If going into Salzburg, visit the old town... its the nicest. If you have a car dont park at the train station, its miles from anything of interest

“Very nice hotel very modern but only really for the airport.”

Very comfortable and clean. It was more 4star than the 3 star that it was rated. Wouldn't stay any longer than 1 night as too far away from Salzburg. Despite being so near airport and motorway, the hotel was very sound proof. You couldn't hear a thing. The staff were very friendly and helped us with the computer and we had a lovely breakfast, But i do generally like it to be in with the cost of the hotel.

Area recommendations

Old town of Salzburg is the best place to stay as everything is within walking distance. Very interesting place .

Getting around

Walking around the city is easy and if the weather had been nicer we would have been able to go on a trip on the river.

Great staff, very helpful and pleasant. The hotel was pretty good. It was very good value for the money, compared to other options in the Salzburg area. You need a car!

“Clean simple hotel”

Found this hotel to be easily located just off the autobahn, with easy access in and out. It is located in a business area near the airport but was just perfect for us to use in getting around the town. Would stay there again
