Buolding work carried out in areas of hotel. A room opposite mine noisy as construction work being carried out. Had to request change of room. Fire alarm kept on going off 3vey evening and the again 02:19, 03:10 and 04:10 Monday and Tuesday night So bad had to check out early .

At checking was not welcomed, was rather put down by the person at the reception. I understand I was early for checkin, coming from the USA you do not really have a choice. The way that lady spoke to me was very unprofessional.The hotel did not even show any accommodations to help me or to take my luggage as I had to wait 4 hours to get a room. Restaurant food was ok but one night we had steak we where 3 at a table and all our streaks where over cooked. Again we complained but no excuse was presented or anything and this was after we waited 45 minutes fro our food.

The hotel is easy to access, there is an outdoor and indoor pool with a sauna and steam room. The general parts of the hotel are fine. The rooms are clean but need renovation (old style decoration). I heard that renovations are ongoing in the executive rooms so they will probably get to the standard rooms afterwards. The outdoor pool is "heated" but it actually isn't heated. I asked several times and the staff said that they can't do anything about it since it's the weekend and the responsible person is not there (which I found strange given that weekends are very busy times, especially for the pool!). The biggest disappointment in this hotel is the staff. Very unprofessional and inexperienced. We sat at the restaurant terrasse for 15 minutes before someone brought us the menu but did not bother to clean the table. Then we spent at least another 20 minutes calling for them. At one point one of the waitresses said "I am coming" and did not show up for the next 15 minutes. At one point, I had personally go into the restaurant and make remarks to the waiter to get him to come and finally clean the table and take our order. Overall, the staff are polite but very unprofessional (the issue with the outdoor pool and the unpleasant experience in the restaurant).

Illusion of luxury
The front desk, bar, restaurant and spa were amazing, impressive, and beautiful. We booked the ecomomy rooms and they were definitely in the portion of the hotel not renovated yet. Fridge was barely cold, coffee maker required you to hold button down to heat water. No fans. No AC. Slept with windows open and we ended up getting eaten alive by bugs! It was so hot and stuffy! Beds had horribly small pillows. Shower was excellent. Huge parking lot. Shopping center across the street. Easy train rids into Brussels.

Great stay, would recommend
Really good hotel, well priced, modern with a quality feel. Room was well equipped, clean and nicely presented. Chocolates in room on arrival and a small soft drinks collection in the minibar is included in room price which was a nice touch. The bar area was very nice, as well as the restaurant. Buffet breakfast was very well presented and offered many options including freshly made omelettes etc. in the price. Breakfast is worth the charge 17.50euro pp. Would recommend for both business and personal stays. Would have been nice to try the spa facilities if had more time.

WiFi never worked, hotel was still under construction and I had no hot water in the shower despite telling the staff on two occasions. Staff in the bar/restaurant were slow and ineffective. Stay away!

Just a one night stopover and was perfect for what we wanted. A nice quiet room. Large cycling event on which took up most of the car park which was quite inconvenient when bringing our luggage in.

Good location and lovely room. Perfect for a family of 4. Unfortunately the fridge didn't work and couldn't be fixed until Monday (we arrived on a Saturday). Also, there are major building works on site during the week.

Overall a nice hotel! A little hard to get to from the train station in Nivelles, but the town itself is very nice. My only complaint is that we were woken up by construction noise after a long day of traveling.

Service let it down
The hotel is under going renovation but they have built a nice enough temporary restaurant bar area. Some of the bar staff were excellent, but reception staff and morning breakfast staff were sub-standard. The breakfast items were not all out at the time I took breakfast (7pm when it had been open since 6.30am), with the fruit only appearing later. In the room, my safe didn't work and after reporting it on four separate occasions, it remained broken and I gave up asking. One morning there was no water at all in the hotel which meant no running water, no flushing of toilets (after the first flush had emptied the cistern, no coffee at breakfast. This was probably due to the renovation and these things happen. However it is the way the hotel deals with these unfortunate occurences which matters and this was not handled particularly well. I do sympathise with the front line reception staff, but the management of other hotels would have ensured a communication e.g. note under the doors apologising for the inconvenience and offering some form of compensation. This hotel remained silent. This is the second time I have stayed here on business and after this experience it will be the last. They let themselves down and they will lose custom because of it.

Lovely Staff and efficient rooms!
The hotel was under construction, so the restaurant was in a bit of. a temporary shape (tent setup which was really hot during the day, which prevented us from using). Aside from that, the staff was extremely accomodating, and very helpful, which made our trip and stay extremely enjoyable!

It is a very convenient hotel for my business trip. Well located and very well staffed. Small attention could be made during the breakfast to make sure the plates and cutlery are replaced and the machines are working properly. Otherwise very comfortable stay.
