What didn't I like? I found a hot tub but no water in it,ice machine was broken,$2.25 for a bag of small bag of candy from the vending machine is ridiculous and when they say they supply breakfast don't be expecting a real breakfast,waffles,toast,pop tarts and small muffins is not what I consider to be a full breakfast. If you're just looking for a place to crash for the night it's fine but other than that I wasn't impressed

We had a fine stay. Beds were comfortable, staff was pleasant, and the continental breakfast was enough for us. Even taking into account that this is a budget hotel chain, a couple things would have been nice. A daily room check for supplies and garbage would have been nice. We ran out of toilet paper and towels and our garbage cans were overflowing on our multi day stay. Staff gave us what we needed if we went to front desk. Also, as an FYI for management, the room we were in was loud as it was the first one from the front desk but more importantly, we could clearly hear the conversations at the front desk. We heard names and room numbers of people checking in, late night conversations from the staff and what appeared to be a team meeting in the morning. I think that was unique to our room, but FYI anyway.

Terrible Continental Breakfast
Continental breakfast was lacking many things, OJ dispenser was out of order, no eggs, bacon or sausage. No sausage gravy for the biscuits, there was no regular coffee ready at 7:30 am, overall very disappointed with the lack of items.

Hi Mike, our breakfast is a standard Super Start breakfast, which does not include eggs or meat. However the lack of adequate stock of provided items is uncharacteristic of our property. We have stayed at many Super 8 Hotels in the past; however, this has all of the others beat. The room was large and comfortable, as well as clean. I was very happy with the hotel and would definitely stay again when we are back in Park Rapids.

This is easily one of the WORST hotel i ever stayed. 1. I booked and paid for king studio room but was given only regular kind room since it wasn't available. I dont get what's the point in booking it week in advance then. I was told that refund will be given for it but i havent received the refund yet even after 5 days. 2. The lock was broken and tv didnt work in the room they gave us and when we reported they moved us to different room, the AC in that room stopped working around 10pm and we reported it to them and they came and checked but said they cant do anything and can ask for a refund in the morning 3. When asked the refund in the morning they finally agreed to give 20$ but even that one we havent received yet. 4. They do also have some of the rude staffs we ever met. Overall this is definitely not a hotel i would ever stay again.

When we got back to our room at the hotel the key did work so my husband had to tell that key did not work and when we got in our room the bed wasn’t made and there was no clean towels and it and it made me upset 😠

Told me my dogs pooped in hall, she say it on video, i said " can i see the video" she wouldnt let me. I paid $100 dog deposit snd $250 for gall cleaning or something. I have aked for the owner to call me so we can discuss.

The hotel was clean and bed was comfortable. But the air conditioner did not work very well and it was very loud. The breakfast was closed even though we were there at 9 and so we only got coffee and no regular creamer was available. But otber than that it was good.

Warm small town welcome
Nice friendly welcome, had a problem with my payment but they were fine and it caused no issues. Good spacious room and a soft comfy bed. Close to reception so a bit of early morning noise but that can't be helped, nothing earplugs wouldn't fix.

Nice, clean, and affordable. Pet friendly is super nice when traveling to the lakes area. The staff was so nice and let us check in when we arrived, which was a tad early. Will stay again when in the area.

Fine for a night or two.
Service was good, the staff seemed experienced and competent. The breakfast was complimentary and was okay for a morning or two. The room is where things are a bit disappointing: a stale, musty odor, an older A/C unit that is a bit loud when running, and old furnishings and beddings. My daughter said when she first walked in that she wasn't sure if she should take her shoes off, because the room has such a shabby feel to it. But the room had a small refrigerator, a microwave, and a coffee maker, so that was nice. The location is good, a very easy drive to downtown Park Rapids. The Super 8 Park Rapids is fine for a night or two, and is obviously competitively priced.

I had called and asked if their king rooms had a recliner and was told they did when we got there there was no recliner. They offered to put us in a suite but ot was 20$ more a night and on second floor and they did not have an elevator. I have bad knees but since it was tourist season all other hotels were very expensive. If I haf known they didn't have recliners i would have booked a different hotel when i booked this one.

When I checked in to the hotel they had double charged me for my room and I was told by the manager that they do that to everyone and at the end of the stay it will be credited back to my account. Not only did they double charge me.. after I called to inform them of the double charge, they then charged me for the 3rd time. The bank confirmed that this was charged 3 times and the manager was no help at all and took zero responsibility for what happened and told me it was the banks fault or Expedia’s fault. They took $1500 out of my account and argued with me to the point where I had to file a fraud claim. As far as my stay. No one came and replaced towels or made the bed in the 5 days that I was there and every day mid day I had to go get new keys because mine would stop working. It was an awful stay and I will not stay there again.
