"Extremely helpful staff."
We unfortunately had a few issues with our room - someone had stolen part of the flush out of the toilet so it wouldn't flush - this we didn't find out until after our son had done a poo!! The staff couldn't have been more helpful - they responded immediately, tried to fix the toilet and when that didn't work they upgraded us to another room. Would definitely stay again.

"A Gem waiting to be found! Extreme value for money plus charm and character."
We had booked to stay at Foxwood just days before they appeared in a television competition, which in fact they won! The welcome was genuine and relaxed, creating the right atmosphere for our stay, which sadly could only be for one night. Our room was amazing! We had a Super sized double bed, large leather chairs, a huge en-suite and a beautiful view of the gardens. It was hard to be critical, only one point comes to mind upon which we should comment - the sunshine was lovely, but identified the fact that the large picture window was overdue for cleaning. We had a most comfortable night and a fabulous breakfast. Their standard charge for two people felt like a steal and our conscience would not let us leave without a generous tip. Well done Foxwood - our stay was short but will be a talking point for sometime to come. Many thanks from The Withnalls.

"Island Hotel"
This unique Hotel is a Georgian House that has been built on an island in a lake surrounded by a golf course. There is an indoor pool and fishing from boats offered. My room was spacious with a lake view and balcony. The Staff were very helpful and the food was very good. The Hairy Bikers were staying there when we were there which is a good recommendation for this hotel.

"Poor value for money"
For the price, I expected somthing way better than I got. The room was OK - if a bit shabby. The hotel was very shabby. Staff were fine though - no complaints about service.

"Hotel a bit tired"
All a bit run down, right next to the M62, so road noise from trucks became very noticeable from about 4.30 AM, only continental breakfast (not cooked), WiFi shaky in my room, broken light over my bed so no reading light, TV antiquated but did work (slowly). Hotel hard to find even with SatNav (had to ask neighbour for directions). For the money it was OK.
