Atallah was closed.
Atallah didn't know or forgot he had a reservation. A few different guides and accommodations' people called Atallah for me (closed/no answer) or commented that Atallah didn't have any reservations. Seems like they all know each other; and 'Atallah" is a common name. But, it came down to me leaving Wadi Rum for Aqaba instead.

sorry, i waiting you at the visitor center - wadi rum ! and you drove to the rest house in the village -wadirum . you meet the people there , and they offered you to them camp in the desert !! and they told you iam not here ! sorry again it seemed mis understand other where we meet !!with my regards - Atallah

Magical Experience
It was our first time in Wadi Rum and we were a bit nervous about going into the middle of the desert with a stranger. However, Atallah immediately put us at ease and we had some tea and spoke with him. Then we took a jeep into the middle of the desert. I have never been surrounded by such silence, such stillness, and such beauty. It was really magical and I definitely recommend this experience to anyone.
