“Great service, shame about the room allocation”

I booked a double room, but was allocated a twin, whilst others at checkin who had made no specification received a double room. I was informed that no double rooms existed. That said they provided free breakfast as compensation and the single beds were more than roomy and comfy enough for 2 people. The shower and bathroom were great - always hot water available and very clean. Wine was very expesive in the restaurant with most bottles being €30+, but the restaurant was open really late which is good for any late checkins. Breakfast was really good with a great selection of food. All staff were really helpful and polite.

“Good value”

We stayed over a week-end and got very good rates - the third night was free. At check-in we were then offered either a room up-grade or free breakfasts. We took the breakfasts, which were excellent. We'll certainly think about going back if they keep up these special offers.

Getting there

If you are travelling with your own car, avoid using the hotel's underground car-park, for which they charge 20 Euros per day. Just over the road there is free parking underneath the railway station.

“Good position”

Although not city centre this hotel is well placed for the motorway system and is across road from a railway station with 5 min access to city. Close vicinity has a "village" feel.

“Klassisches Business-Hotel”

Hotel liegt in ÜPNV recihweite zu allen Sehenswürdigkeiten in DenHaag und direkt an der Autobahn, allerdings dadruch alles andere als Zentral. Service und Personal sind freundlich und zuvorkommend, Zimmer entsprechen den Bildern.

“Het hotel Moevenpick te Voorburg, dicht bij het NS station. Dus snel naar alle richtingen”

Wij hebben het prima naar onze zin gehad. We konden zelfs nog kiezen bij aankomst of gratis ontbijt of opwaardering van de kamer. Perfect. Heerlijk rustige kamer en vriendelijk personeel. Ontbijt zeer goed en uitgebreid. het enigste kleine min-puntje was dat het parkeren niet gratis is en het tarief aan de pittige kant is. Verder niets dan lof

Area recommendations

Het oude Voorburg en Den Haag welke stad je eenvoudig kunt bereiken vanaf het tegenoverliggende treinstation. Elke 10 min. een trein naar die richting.

“Das Hotel liegt nahe des Bahnhofs und der Autobahn”

Das Hotel liegt in unmittelbarer Nähe eines Bahnhofs und der Autobahn, so dass die Zimmer recht laut sind. Das Hotel wurde bei meinem Besuch gerade renoviert, so dass Lärmbelästigungen auftraten. Dem Hotel (auch dem Zimmer) haftete ein unangenehmer Küchengeruch an.

“Perfekt geführtes Kettenhotel in einem Büroviertel”

Das Haus gehört zur vier Sterne Kategorie. Alles war während unseres Aufenthaltes bestens. Sehr sauber, grosses Zimmer, gute Betten, umfangreiches Frühstück, freundliches Personal, freies Parken möglich oder Tiefgarage. Das Hotel liegt nur einen Katzensprung von der Bahnstation : Den Haag Zentrum ist nur vier Minuten entfernt. Sehr zu empfehlen, auf Sonderangebote achten!

“Geht so....”

Da ich geschäftlich auch oft im Mövenpick bin, war ich von dem durchschnittlichen Erscheinungsbild nicht überrascht. Expedia Zimmer...war halbwegs akzeptabel, aber leider ein wenig runtergekommen...einfach gebraucht. Zudem nicht 100% sauber (z.B. Haare auf dem Bad-Boden).Matratze war ok. DIe Bar abends war irgendwie kalt, Erdnüsse auf dem Tisch waren leer (an fast allen Tischen), wenigstens gab es ein Begrüßungsgetränk.Trotzdem fehlt irgendwie der Wohlfühlfaktor. Zentrum in 5 Minuten Autofahr - Distanz, Auto kann draußen kostenlos zwischen 22h und 9h abgestellt werden, was die Garage kostet habe ich nicht gefragt. Gegenüber gibt es einen Park+Ride Parkplatz und Bahn, um in die Stadt zu kommen. Nach Steveningen sind es ca. 10-15 Minuten mit dem Auto. Fazit: Wenn man privat einen Wochenendtrip unternimmt, ok. Ansonsten würde ich mich anderweitig umschauen.
