“great value”

Breakfast is good ( always same menu), staff was nice and the room was always clean. Location isn't ideal. Do not use airport transfer by this hotel. The price is way above than normal price that you just hop on to a taxi by yourself. The room is small and has a gloomy atmosphere, but I liked overall.

“baltic states”

this is conviniencely located by the old city of a stylish old building. the attendants were friendly and helpful. booking a taxi to the airport from the hotel is much better than grab one on the street, you may be rip off. the corridor smells during meal times, since the restaurant is just below all the rooms.

“3 Night Break”

We arrived for a 3 night stay in Vilnius. The Hotel is very clean and tidy, is located within 15 minute’s walk to the city centre. The staff seemed very friendly and helpful. The only reason I did not mark this with 5 stars was the breakfast, it was not the best I have had but was edible. The cathedral and castle are within 10 minute’s walk from the hotel. The city is very clean and we felt very safe at all times. It was a really enjoyable stay, but would not recommend a stay for more than a few days it is a very small city. Very Cheap for eating out, dumplings are very hard going, but had some very good meals. Trakai is worth a visit but try and get at least 3 hours in Trakai as we only had 2 and would have liked to go around the lakes etc. which we did not have time to do. Overall a very beautiful city and people very friendly, weather helped. HOT

“There are better options in Vilnius!!!”

Cons - This hotel is out of date and in a noisy location. The hallways are dark and creepy, especially at night. Rooms on 6th floor don't have windows, they have skylights in the roof that open a few inches. A/C does not work well and rooms get hot. Gym is a joke. Pros - Location is central and in walking distance to shops and attractions. Breakfast is nice - a lot of options. Staff were pretty helpful. If you are staying in Vilnius, I would recommend the Scandic Neringa over this hotel.

“Nice Hotel in Vilnius”

This hotel was very pleasant. We had three rooms, all were smallish but clean and comfortable. Ours was on the front of the hotel so we were a little bothered by street noise. The restaurant was excellent, with a really good breakfast included in the price of the room. We were right on the edge of Old Town Vilnius, within easy walking distance of all the sights, restaurants and shops. The staff were very pleasant with good English speakers at the desk. Very reasonably priced. Be sure to purchase some bottled water as it is not recommended to drink the water and it's much cheaper to buy outside the hotel.

Area recommendations
Old Town Vilnius. It's on the World Heritage List and is worth at least a day or two of sightseeing. It contains 76 churches and is a wonderful example of an old European town. The Lithuanians are understandingly proud of their long, and often difficult history, and are working hard to reclaim their country from the ravages of first German and then Russian occupation. I look forward to visiting again.
When to go
Summer time; it's a nice respite from the crowds in other major European cities. The weather is pleasant and the prices right
Getting around
Lithuania has good bus service between cities and enough people speak English to make it very doable.

“Would return anytime.”

Very peaceful and well maintained hotel. Staff very attentive and friendly. Rooms comfy and well kept. Breakfast very good with lots of assortment by way of dietary requirement.Plenty of choice. Loads of hot water,take a bath or shower at anytime. Would strongly recommend this hotel and would willingly return. Well placed for all attractions.

Sadly hotel was fully booked on our first night so we wandered and found Hotel Scandic Neringa on Gedimino Ave.....Wonderful service,prices very reasonable and food to die for. KGB museum is a must. Gives a true impression of what Lithuanians suffered for their identity. Open only Wed to Sunday.

“Choose another hotel”

Wouldn't recommend this hotel. We had a non-smoking room which had obviously been a smoking room without any of the decor being refreshed. Everytime you walked in the room you smelt smoke and it wasn't pleasant. The breakfast was not very nice at all and they had run out of some types of food half way through and didn't have any more to replace it with. Receptionists overall were not very unfriendly. This was more a 2 star rather than a 4 star!

“Nice for the price”

The staff were very helpful and pleasant - our bags did not arrive with us at the airport and the hotel staff helped chase this up with the airport. Our room was very big, clean and comfortable - air con very effective. Breakfast ok if a little querky but there was something for everyone, including vegetarians; anyway who can complain when there is cake for breakfast!
