We spent a week in Villasimius for a beach holiday and to attend a wedding. The room was on the small side but perfectly adequate for two of us. Had we had a third person in the room using the pull out bed, it would have been too cramped, in my opinion. The balcony to the room however was huge - almost the same size as the room and it overlooked the pool area which was a bonus. It was nice to be able to lounge by the pool and be able to pop back to our room to get drinks and food without a long walk. The hotel is perfectly located a ten minute walk from town and a ten minute walk from Notteri beach, where the hotel its own private section. The kitchenette in the room is good for storing chilled produce and drinks, which meant that we did not have to spend a fortune on drinks and food during the day time. I do not think that you could cook anything other than a very basic meal in the room, given that there is only a two ring hob to use, which we used to make coffee in the morning and boiled eggs. There is a barbecue area which we didn't end up using, but looked terrific. There are butchers and supermarkets in town where you can get meat. For families on a budget, this is a great idea. The hotel was a great base for exploring the surrounding area and good value for money. If I return to Villasimius in the future, I would stay at the Palm Village again.

The hotel was probably in the past a good "Grand Hotel", but lost it all. Houses are falling a part, everything is half-broken, staff is not professional nor qualified. I have never had such a bad breakfast in my entire life. The only good thing was the location. I would suggest to have a car so you can visit beaches around, go to different restaurants every night (cheaper and much better quality than the hotel) and go food shopping to grocery shops in Villasimius. Do not ask for lunch nor dinner in the hotel. Sardinia can offer much more in terms of food and you can find it easily all over the places, but not in the hotel.
I really enjoyed staying in residence . I think it's what you need for holiday there was supermarket right under the building ,AC and parking. Room was clean with minimum facility's for kitchen but could have nice breakfast and simple lunch . I personally would come back .
