The hotel is well placed for travel south in Spain being just off the A66. The room was spacious and comfortable with a good en suite facility. Less good is the restaurant which doesn’t serve food until 8pm - not good after a day’s travelling. The choice of dishes is limited and the food is not sufficiently well cooked. On one occasion we were given crisps instead of chips. The choice at breakfast is very limited. The restaurant staff (unlike those at reception) seem unwilling to please. A visit to the town isn’t recommended - we were unable to find a decent restaurant there either.

This is a very nice simple hotel; excellent value. Room and bathroom were a good size, simple but comfortable furnishings, not dated or worn at all. Very clean and quiet, although there were few guests staying so I'm not sure how quiet it would be if the hotel was full. We were there on a cool evening in the winter and the heater in both rooms worked fine. Cafe/restaurant on site with very reasonable rates. There is a very nice patio and pool at the back which would probably be quite pleasant in the summertime.
