Hotel très bien situé au coeur du vieux Poitiers piétonnier, parking sous l’hôtel 8 euros, chambre très calme et confortable. Pas de restaurant mais une dizaine à 5mns à pied. Accueil poli mais froid

We enjoyed our stay at Best Western Poitiers. The staff were helpful (they reserved a taxi for us). The breakfast was plentiful with lots of options of cheeses, yogurt, breads, eggs and meats. The bed was comfortable and large enough (nice king size). We would stay there again if we visit Poitiers again.

The room and service was exceptional. I have been staying in hotels for the last 3 weeks and this was easily the best hotel that i have stayed in. Comfortable, clean and modern. Everything was perfect 12/10!

Great location and hotel, very friendly
This hotel is in the centre of Poitiers and is within a few minutes walk of many bars and restaurants. The train station is a 10 minute walk away and the bus stops closer. I stayed here as my husband was in hospital following a serious car crash (the local hospital is amazing). The reception staff were so kind and helpful. Twice I needed photocopying done in order to complete the travel insurance requirements and reception happily did this for me. All the reception staff I met are fluent in English. The hotel is well presented and cared for, very clean with great staff throughout. I never had breakfast, so I cannot comment on this. The area is lovely with a choice of shops, restaurants, little supermarkets, bars and touristy things to see. The location is fab to explore on foot. I noticed parking by the hotel, but did not use this. I would stay here again.

Great location
The hotel is in a great location, and whilst it has parking, it was as easy (and cheap) to park in the larger public car park next door. The room was large, clean and comfortable - with the exception of the air-con which was pretty hopeless (thankfully we had a portable fan with us). Overall a nice hotel, and friendly staff

Excellent base for exploring
Great location for exploring Poitiers, quiet room and staff helpful with our bikes. Breakfast overpriced and there was an issue with lack of staff the morning we were there, but staff did acknowledge and part refund.

Ideal for a city break
This hotel is perfect for a city centre visit as it is ideally located in the old town yet has good, secure parking adjacent, at 8€ per night. Our room was spacious, unfussy and clean, with good storage space, tea and coffee making facilties and a very comfortable bed. Breakfast was generous.

It was probably one of the worse rooms I have been in a long time. The hotel is hot, and humid, almost moist. The carpet in the corridors is dark, but you can still see lots of stains. I tried to get a couple of drinks from the desk staff during the night but after 10 mind waiting nobody appeared and I have up. The room was OKish, but the aircon machina had a leak (for a long time it seemed) and the carpet underneath and beyond, was damp. The night was a constant dripping noise which didn't help sleeping. In short I would not go back there.

Great room and huge very comfortable bed. In a family room (4 people) and had to request enough towels 3 times, so not that great. Location excellent and very good restaurant next door. Remember to reserve hotel parking although Hotel de Ville car park a few doors down was only Euro 2.50 overnight.

Not a 4 star!
A very disappointing facility. No way is this a 4 star hotel. Fittings are tired, with a number of broken items. When I reported these to the day Manager, she dismissed them all and did nothing. The next day the breakfast fruit was still rotten and things like the fire alarm were still broken.

Great location in centre of city, close to restaurants. Excellent on site garage for parking. Friendly, helpful reception and breakfast staff. Good breakfast. No bar (was supposed to be open, but locked). Towels could be larger. Room was adequate, but nothing exceptional.

I was informed by the management of the hotel that their heating system "has exploded" and therefore they will have to book me in another hotel. I understand those things can happen but paying for a 4 star and getting a basic 3 star in exchange without any compensation, not even free breakfast is disappointing to say the least.

The greeting on arrival was poor. The receptioist did not engage and seemed most disinterested in us. The room was comfortable and very clean but as a tea drinker i was disappointed there were only 2 tea bags for my use. I thought the towels were of poor quality and there was no bath towel in my bathroom so had to do with a hand towel - not good enough !! A face cloth and a shower cap would have been useful. Well located and the same receptioinist when we returned very cold, on request did make us a cup of tea which we appreciated.

A bargain.
Conveniently situated for the town centre. Excellent breakfast. Large comfortable rooms. When booking I strongly recommend that you pre-book a parking place (this isn't obvious when booking online).

This is an exceptional hotel. We did not expect it to be so good as in the US, it is generally a sub par hotel. The rooms were clean, the bedding great, the customer Svcs exceptional. We were totally delighted.
