“Not Impressed and Very "Disappointed”
We visit Euorope on an annual basis and this was the worst hotel stay ever. When we arrived in Vienna the temperature was -2 celcius -- the room had no heat and after several discussions with the staff, and their attempt to repair, we were moved to another room. That room was a touch better but still so cold at night we could not sleep due to cold air entering the room from defective windows. The comforters are disigned for single beds and when used on a double are worthless. The hotel is well appointed but depressing due to poor service and poor design of the facilities --- for instance when you enter the hotel you are immediatly required to take your luggage up a flight of stairs -- there is no door man nor any help when you arrive. The hotel is located too far from the center -- it advertises as 15 minute walk but because of the temperature it is a very difficult and uncomfortable walk. If you truly wish to enjoy Vienna then stay closer to the center, especially if you are an older traveler. The hotel may be well priced but there is no value due to our bad experiance. To add additional insult the hotel offers service to the airport for 45 euro but the taxi (a mercedes) charged us only 25 euro! The Hotel needs to redirect its attention to detail, and gain a better understanding of its facilities in order to better meet basic and resonable expectations of its guests. They simply "don't get it" when it comes to an optimal hotel stay.
“Great location with clean updated rooms”
Great Hotel at a reasonable price, close to all the sites. Very clean and updated with great service. We had both breakfast and dinner at the hotel and were very satisified with the service and quailtiy of food. If there was bit of advice, the hotel is on a very busy road therefore as for an inside courtyard facing room as we did, very quiet.
“Sophisticated hotel at a great rate”
This hotel was very nice and trendy. The decor was modern and stylish. The hotel was still very comfortable with all of the necessary amenities. The location was great with a metro stop just 30 meters from the door of the hotel or a 15 minute walk to Nasch Market. The only downfall for this hotel was the mattress that was very, very firm. By the fourth night, my hips were sore from sleeping repeatedly on the mattress.
“Decent hotel but not 5-star”
My friend and I booked two single rooms and they were very cramped (more like university accommodation), with horrible black furniture and single beds. I've never been given a single bed in any hotel before when booking a single room, let alone a 5-star one. I banged my leg on the bed every time I walked past it, as there was very little room around it. The lock on the door was broken. There was a tall, scruffy mirror tilted precariously against the wardrobe and I was quite scared of it falling on me. The shower made the most appalling noise when I switched it on; it was like having a banshee in the room. However, I cannot fault the cleanliness of the bedroom or bathroom; both were spotless. My friend's room was even smaller than mine. Disconcertingly, there was a window between her bedroom and bathroom! I asked for rooms overlooking the courtyard so that we wouldn't be disturbed by traffic noise at the front. Fortunately, they were very quiet and no traffic could be heard. The view was not particularly edifying but at least we both got a good night's sleep, which was the main thing. The hotel is only a few minutes' walk away from the Rathaus and is very convenient for trams, buses and the U-Bahn so it's in a very good location. If you want a real 5-star hotel, go for the Bristol or Imperial. Both are very luxurious, are right on the Ringstrasse and have lovely big beds! The Levante must try much harder if it wants to call itself 5-star with impunity.
“Best vacation”
It was the best hotel we stayed. Thanks a lot!
“A Wonderful Stay”
We were extremely pleased with the Levante Parliament. It was located only a block from an underground rail station and a block from "the ring" that surrounds the old city in Vienna. The room was small but elegant. Everything was spotlessly clean. The beds were very comfortable. The shower was super. The room overlooked a lovely inner courtyard. There was no outside noise. The free buffet breakfast was the nicest we have ever experienced - several kinds of fresh fruit, wonderful croussants and other pastries, juices, cereals, nuts, eggs, meat and cheese. The front desk staff was extremely helpful. We had difficulty confirming the location of the cruise ship we were scheduled to board when we left the hotel. The front desk clerk made several phone calls for us to find out all the information we needed. We couldn't have asked for better service. I'm not sure we will ever be back in Vienna, but if we do, we will most assuredly look for a room at the Levante Parliament.
“cant wait to go back”
Perfect to vacation
“Awesome hotel in an awesome location”
We had a really easy time finding this hotel from the Underground (Subway) which was two blocks away. The hotel had been recently upgraded and everything was new, clean and "artsy". The rooms were well decorated and as we had been doing hotels in several other europe destinations this one stood out as one of our favourites. Clean and comfortable would be how I would describe it........
“Good hotel but check room location”
Levante Parliament v good boutique hotel well located near the Town Hal;l and Parliament with good undertground and tram connections. Only problem is that the hotel is on a v busy road and rooms with windows on the side facing the road are noisy. We asked to be moved and the hotel raised no difficulties about this. But it would be simpler to make sure that this is done in advance. Oh yes, V nice outside courtyard bar.
“Very good location, quite neighbourhood, but still city centre located.”
Very good hotel, with excellent location, very good service, comfortable and clean.
