“Pretty Good”
Location convenient via tram, but not S-Bahn or U-Bahn. A couple good restaurants and bars in the neighborhood. Room was spacious and clean (except trash had not been taken out). The elevator was not spacious. Front desk closed after 6pm, but could pick up key at bar next door.
“Great apartment in fabulous Vienna”
Very clean and nicely furnished apartment. Kitchen has appliances and all cookware. The bed was very comfortable even compared to my brand new expensive mattress at home. Very close to subway station Rathaus. Staff was courteous, helpful and fluent in English. Hair drier and additional sheets were provided on request. There is a small coffee room downstairs with excellent coffee. Not a 5 star hotel, but excellent value for what I paid.
“A very good Apartment Hotel”
A very convenient location apartment in Wien, it only a bit away from the Wien Inner Ring. It take no more than 3 mins walk to the nearest Metro station, and even the city center are walkable distance from the apartment. There are not much to shop around the apartment, only a few bars, restaurants, and a small super market. However, the area are very safe. The size of the apartment is big, some have 2 bed rooms, so can stay more people in one unit. The kitchen has the basic cooking wares, so cooking in the apartment can save some money. The front desk lady is very friendly and helpful. She can answer you almost anything about Wien, and help you to book concert, trans tickets, and etc. Unfortunately, the front desk is close after 6pm. This is not a 5 stars hotel, but this hotel has all the good reasons I stay for while visit Vienna. In short, this apartment is a good choice without breaking my wallet.
“Great location, suited our requirements”
Levaunte Laudon apartments was a great place to stay for a few nights in Vienna. Appartment is what is says with a separate bed room, small kitchen, large living area and bathroom. Well appointed with everything you would need if you wished to self cater. Breakfast pack supplied each morning was a great start to the day. Restaurants and bars are very close and for very economical eating and drinking the University Campus very close by has several bars and restaurants which are open to anyone. Old city is around 20 mins walk away and the Metro is around 10 mins walk if you wish to go further. Regular trams pass close by and are very convienient once you work out the routes. Staff on the front desk were all very friendly and helpful.
“"Felt Mislead"”
I am not sure who to blame (Expedia or Levante Laudon) but none of the pictures in the Expedia display reflect the "standard room" for which we contracted. We assumed that the difference was size and not room quality. While the apartment was clean and the bed was comfortable, the overall apartment was dated and in some level of disrepair. It was nothing like the pictures that were shown. We did not spend much time in the room so it was not a major problem but we really felt mislead.
“Budget hotel at an excellent location”
The Levante Laudon is an excellent hotel apartment at a very good location. It is at a walking distance from Rathaus (U stn.), has nearby restaurants and bars and what's more a Billa grocery store is also a 2 mins walk. You can cook in your kitchenet which is provided with a hot plate, utensils, cutlery, refrigerator etc.
“inexpensive but you get what you pay for”
The hotel is conveniently located and reasonably priced. However, the room was dirty, there was no maid service, the bed was lumpy and the free "breakfast" consisted mostly of stale bread. It all depends on what you are looking for....if you are looking for inexpensive accommodations and don't really care about frills it could be fine. Let's put it this way, it is a big step up from a hostel, but I wouldn't recommend it to my parents.
“Clean Decent Hotel - spacious rooms”
Hotel was clean. Furnishings were clean and modern. Reception was friendly and accomodated our past midnight arrival. Free washer/dryer to launder your clothes. Now the cons: Room we got was the attic apt with sloping ceilings. As a 6+ft adult, you can tend to bump against the ceiling a lot. Location of the hotel is ok but not great. To get to any part of the old town, you'll need to make atleast one transfer on the trams or subway. But its safe and with a few close restaurant options. Breakfast supplied at the room doorstep in a paper bag was below par. Just rolls with condiements. They'd rather you go to their pricy buffet at their sister hotel. Elevator is tiny. Basically enough for 1 big suitcase and one adult. Its also the service elevator so if its being used by the service staff, you're out of luck and have to lug your suitcase down 4 floors of a winding grand staricase, with varying step widths. Quite dangerous.
“A Truly Memorable Experience”
Our first time in an apt/hotel and spoiled us for ever staying in commercial hotels for longer than a day or two. The Laudon was conveniently located near easy transportation and the neighborhood was safe for evening strolls and seemed to have a marvelous surprise around every corner...cafes, flower shops, churches, wine bars, etc. The staff was most gracious and made every effort to ensure our comfort. The apt. was clean, well appointed and the comp. washer/dryer downstairs was most appreciated half way through a month-long vacation. We will definitely plan a return visit...that's if we are still able to get a reservation after telling all our friends about the Laudon. You won't be disappointed with your stay.
“good”
this is more like an apartment then o hotel. good sides: its big and comfortable. furniture is modern restaurant downstairs has a nice vibe has a nice patio downstairs bad sides: .noisy at night!!! there are couple of student bars just under the window and the kids are shouting, talking, drunk until 5am .its not in the center of everything happens, but you can take a tram. .no parking place near and u have to walk a couple of long blocks to reach the car to a public parking place that cost 32 euros. reception closes at 6. but overall, its ok! i recommend.
