“Vienna Regina”

The hotel is not the Ritz but is very clean, the staff were very helpful and attentive, the hotel is in a superb location, there is a tram/tube station within 150 metres and all the major attractions are easily reached by these. The restaurant offered a basic menu and the food was very good. Overall I would definitely stay at The Regina again, just for the location it is worth it and I can't think of anything negative to say.

Area recommendations
The Regina location is excellent, almost central but 5 mins walk to opera house and city centre but nice and quiet.

“OK”

Stayed here last year and had a good experience, but this time the room was small, with a window that looked straight into someone else room just a few meters away, and the breakfast has certainly reduced in variety and quality. Given the increased price, not really good value for money.

“Really great hotel in Vienna”

First class hotel, situated close to the U-Bahn and tram services and near enough to walk into the city centre. Very comfortable, excellent service, great breakfast and the restaurant was worth recommending for food, wine and service. A landmark with a rich history that has been kept up to date. Provided the ideal base for a short break for my family, but would suit anyone. I will seek to use this hotel when I visit Vienna on business in the future. Not the usual sterile hotel chain, but with all the positives they offer and some.

Area recommendations
Staying close the University means you are close to the city, but not right in the middle. Vienna is quite compact, so getting around to all the famous sites is easy using U-bahn and tram. A central Vienna public transport ticket offers unlimited travel from the moment the card is validated for 72 hours, this is great value. There is nowhere in the city that is a problem, but a short visit should include Schonbrun, the centre of the city, the museums quarter and the big wheel.

“pleasantly surprised”

The hotel room was clean, breakfast good and located aprx a mile from city center. There were many restaurants in the area but the action was in the city center. Subway stop one block away so it was easy to get around.

“not the perfect location to see the city”

If you are over 50 - expect using the tram to visit stephans platz. Buy the viena card. It is good solution

“Una vecchia gloria...”

Hotel ottimo per la sua posizione ma la camera assegnata non era idonea ad ospitare tre persone. Ottima la disponibilità del personale. Scarsa conoscenza della lingua italiana!!

“Hotel Regina : hotel très agréable”

Hotel très correcte et confortable. Le personnel est agréable et serviable. Le petit déjeuner buffet est bon et copieux et il est servi dans une salle très claire et agréable. l'hotel est très bien situé à proximité de plusieurs sites et très près des transports :U-ban, trams, etc. Je le recommande.

“Underbara rum !”

Trevligt hotell, god frukost. Promenad avstånd till det mesta i Wien.

Rekommenderar att äta på Do & Co, god mat och vacker utsikt över Stefansdomen. Men man bör boka bord i god tid.

“Längtar redan tillbaka till Wien och Reginas bra läge.”

Hotellet var ganska OK. Kanske inte direkt 4 stjärnigt med läget och närheten till allt hjälper till att man bor bekväm där. Frukosten var bra och personalen mycket vänliga.

Area recommendations
Wien är mycket värt att titta på, det finns överallt något fint att upptäcka.
