“very happy with the hotel”

Loved the location, the hotel . My only grudges is the lack of airconditioning. Would go back, but only when the weather is on the cool side.

Area recommendations

The hotel is on the main shopping street, and close to the main railway station. Good public transportation.

“Good Location in Wien”

This hotel is right around the corner from the train station (Westbahnhof) on a side street so that you are less exposed to street noise. Also located in the heart of the shopping district and a pleasant stroll down to the Museum Quartier. Room was spacious with nice floor plan and clean.

Area recommendations

West Wien is my preference. Easy access to everything--subway, tourist spots, and interesting restaurants without being filled with hubbub.

“Vienna's average”

I thought it was a clean, simple hotel which provided my basic needs for a night in Vienna. It was a great location for myself becasue of its proximity to the train station. Surprisingly quiet given its noisy location. I just wish breakfast were included. I have stayed in other European hotels that have offered more for your money with more luxury. Overall a decent place to stay.

“Pleasantly surprised, would definitely stay there again”

The hotel was in a great location (right near the metro stop Westbanhof), it was very clean, and the staff was very helpful. They helped us find information about a train to Prague for the next day, and also shipped my cell phone to me in Italy after I left it in the room. I would definitely recommend this hotel. The only two side notes are that the Internet in our room didn't work, and also you have to pay for the 3-day transportation pass, which I read was going to be free.

Getting there

If you arrive from the airport by bus, you are dropped off farther away than if you arrive by train. This can be a hassle if there's snow on the ground and you have wheeled luggage. Also, have directions from the bus stop to the hotel ready because we didn't and it was hard to find someone who could help us out.

“One of the best cities to visit in our 30 day European vacation”

Modern, clean, comfortable hotel with excellent service, friendly front desk. Good location, around the corner from the subway and main train station (Westbahnof). Good shopping across the street, several good cafes and restaurants around the corner, as well. Delicious all you can eat breakfast was good, a little expensive, but factoring in the quality of the food, it was worth it. The best benefit, which we used everyday, was the no hassle city bus and subway passes that we received when we registered!

Traveller's tip

Use the subway (U-Bahn)to get around the city, even if you dress up for a concert or dinner engagement. It is efficient, safe, clean and if you do a little bit of research beforehand, regarding which lines to use for the differnet venues, then the subway is quite easy to use.

“Best Hotel in Center of Vienna”

Hotel is new, clean and built in the contemporary style. Located very closely to Vienna touristic attractions, as well as, shopping area. Good restaurant and friendly atmosphere. It is also close to affordable parking places if you are traveling by car (ask in hotel reception).

“Great Choice!”

I was only transitting for a day and wanted to stay in the heart of the city and probably shop a bit, so browsing through the options on Expedia, I liked what I read and saw about this Hotel. And sure enough, its bang on Maria Hilfer Strasse, a few minutes from the underground trains and walking distance from everything Vienese! the Hotel was comforatble and the breakfast substantial. Great value for money. Though would recommend that its not ideal for really warm weather. has no air conditioning. Only heating.

Everything is within shouting distance. So you're located perfectly. Would recommend taking the undergrount and CAT Services to and from the Airport.

“Simply Fantastic”

Fantastic location if you travel by train. The hotel seems brand new and it's right on Mariahilfer Shopping district. You can take the Subway and be at the Stephansdom in minutes.

Traveller's tip

Good price for such a hotel. My stay in Vienna was quite enjoyable and I recommend it to any traveller. Only a few blocks from the train station it is great for those who are travelling by rail around Europe. Location is quite nice and well connected.
