“Don't trust the hotel staff”

There were no fans available for 2 nights at this hotel. We were told upon check in that we could park our car for 17 euros for 24 hours. We were there about 36 hours (less than two days) and had to pay 60 euros to get out. When we told the hotel about this, they said we should have told them. Well my husband had gone to get the car and the machine kept his ticket and wouldn't let him out of the lot until he had paid the cash. THE HOTEL DIDN'T CARE!!!

“Not a bad place”

Overall it's comfort & tidy for staying in. Staff are helpful, the room was very closey, Great location as it's just off a long high street wiht lots of shops, cafes & supermarkets open between 8am to 8pm!! But the breakfast is a bit pricey @ 11 Euro per person, better off eating out...

“Nice hotel in heart of shopping ditrict”

We stay at the Hotel Fuerst Metternich for its location, price and service. The location is one block off a busy shopping street with a u-bahn station. Bookstores, clothing stores and restaurants are all within a few minutes walk and the central city is only two subway stops away. The rooms are fairly large, clean and comfortable. The staff is friendly, with solid English skills. There's a good high-end "American Bar" in the basement.

Good location but everything inside seems to be concieved in the 80's, scratched furniture and no WLAN. I'd look somewhere else.

“Bra, mysigt hotell nära till shopping”

Ett mysigt hotell, med godkänd standard. En fantastisk hotellbar med över 1000 whiskysorter, Rummen är fräscha men absolut inge hög standard. Frukost för 10 euro och den var väl godkänd.

Het hotel was heerlijk centraal, maar de singel-kamer erg donker. Keek uit op een blinde muur. Zag pas buiten dat de zon scheen. Verder alles prima.

“Hotel Fuerst Metternich di Vienna”

Ci hanno assegnato una camera al 6° piano ma l'ascensore arriva solo al 5° poi abbiamo dovuto trascinare le pesanti valigie su per le scale - non si sono neanche offerti di aiutarci-. La camera (piccolissima) ha la porta tutta scheggiata, l'arredamento e soprattutto il bagno sono decisamente datati, i rubinetti penso che siano contemporanei all'impero Asburgico!!!!!!!! Buona la posizione.

“Hotel Fuerst Metternich - è come essere al centro di Vienna”

Ci sono stato con mia moglie dal 24 al 29 agosto 2011, con un caldo "africano". Poichè l'hotel è privo di aria condizionata sapevamo di correre qualche rischio. Infatti la camera, situata a un piano alto, come da noi richiesto nella prenotazione, aveva la finestra che dava su un cavedio e la temperatura, nonstante la direzione ci avesse fornito un ventilatore, era tale da non lasciarci dormire. Abbiamo segnalato questo inconveniente e ci è stata proposta e assegnata una nuova camera, decisamente più confortevole. Se si va a Vienna in un periodo in cui la temperatura non è torrida, come quando ci siamo stati noi, ritengo che questo hotel sia la soluzione ideale, a 100 metri dal Metrò e a 80 da un Mc caffè per la colazione. Quando prenotate chiedete una camera dal 2° piano in su, meglio se da sulla strada che è pochissimo trafficata.

“Sehr gutes Hotel für Städtetrips”

Das Hotel liegt sehr zentral in der Nähe des Westbahnhofs, auch eine U-Bahn-Station ist in Laufnähe. Das Zimmer war sehr sauber, das Frühstücks-Buffett war ordentlich. Das Zimmer war klein, aber für einen Städtetrip absolut ok. Der Ausblick ging in den Hinterhof, aber auch das für einen Städtetrip für uns unerheblich. Die Innenstadt mit vielen Sehenswürdigkeiten ist gut mit der U-Bahn erreichbar.
