“Convenient and comfortable stopover”

Picked this on basis of Tripadvisor and wasn't disappointed. Situated about a mile or so out of Barstow on a retail park with several shops restaurants etc. Rooms very comfortable and complimentary breakfast was most extensive choice we had on the whole trip. Recommend Chilis restaurant opposite which is also popular with locals. Make sure you visit Barstow itself to drive on Route 66 and visit the museum

“Barstow Hotel”

I was pleasantly surprised by the Country Inn in Barstow. All features of the hotel were very nice and the price was reasonable.

Stopping in Barstow is sometimes necessary. This hotel is easy to find and family friendly. Books for the kids and lots of pool toys Great breakfast (among the best). Room was clean and the beds were comfortable. Over all a very thoughtful hotel. Would stay here again.

“Why can't all hotels be this good”

Wasn't really looking forward to staying in barstow, but could tell from moment i arrived this was a great hotel, and anyone having to stop over in this town should stay here. loved the home cooked cookies offered on arrival too.

“noisy hotel”

Our first impression of this hotel was good, it was a new hotel in a good situation with a chilis right next door. The bedrooms were very comfortable and clean, all was good until the family from hell moved in above. They must have had children i don't know how many but from the noise it must have been lots, there was shouting doors banging running around and this carried on throughout the evening, at 12.30am we had cause to phone reception to complain as we couldn't stand it any more, they said they would look into it and sort it, the noise if anything got worse a few hours later we phone reception again to complain again we were told they would look into it. We couldn't sleep as it was so noisy. On checking out we mentioned it again and were told that they had spoken to the family but the children were outof control! We were asked if we were offered another room to sleep in of course we were not or else we woundn't have needed to complain. The response i'm sorry about that we should have!!!! Most unhappy.

“Excellent value for money”

Travelled from Edinburgh to Las Vegas and stopped overnight here. Helpful and friendly staff. Room great and cannot believe it can be provided with breakfast for the amount.

“Great hotel at a good price”

I like staying at this particular hotel chain - I've been staying with the chain for close to twenty years now. Prices are reasonable, service is good, the free breakfast buffet is convenient and good, and the rooms are always clean and well kept. This particular location is no exception. The indoor pool and hot tub were very clean and enjoyable. The hotel is conveniently located near gas stations, restaurants/fast food and a couple of outlet malls. I would definitely stay here again when in the area.

“Very comfortable”

Practically brand new hotel. The staff was very friendly. (And the luggage racks rolled beautifully!) My only complaint regards the lack of choice among soft drink brands in the vending machines. Almost all of the hotels I visited during my 5 week, 10 hotel trip offered only Pepsi products. Lost a sale to me! Otherwise, though, the hotel was great.
