We stayed here on our wedding night and booked a one bedroom suite. We always heard great things about this hotel. But when we checked in the lovely front desk, staff told us that we upgraded to a Penthouse suite at no extra charge. They honestly made our day that much more special, we took our first look photos with our wedding party up on the balcony overlooking the inner harbor. The next morning, upon check out, they humbly ask us how our evening was. We will only stay with them downtown booking moving forward and cannot wait to recommend others to this hotel. By far the best hotel experience I’ve ever had, and I’ve travelled that some of the best world-class destinations around, North America, Europe, and Southeast Asia. 10/10. We love you Regent!

We loved the penthouse suite and will definitely book there again. The staff were really nice and friendly - service is great! Would be nice to have more amenities in the hotel. Parking was just too tight. The wifi was weak and has dead zones within the room. We could hear the noise from the street at night. Overall, our family had a great time!

Amazing place to stay on a family getaway! Our suite was very comfortable, and quiet. Spacious, excellent for pack of teenagers. Beautiful view of the harbour, excellent shopping and restaurants all within walking distance. Definitely our new "go-to" in Victoria!

Everything was amazing starting with secure, underground parking. The hotel was perfect location for being central to downtown, the Inner Harbour and Chinatown. Service was excellent and they kindly gave us a complimentary upgrade to a gorgeous suite overlooking the Harbour. Everything was beautifully appointed, clean and very comfortable.

The hotel has a mix of residents and guests. It feels more like a condo bldg than a hotel in some ways. If you get a suite with a kitchen, the suites are huge and have wonderful views of the harbour. The regular rooms are roomy with huge bathrooms and have balconies with table and chairs. Great restaurants nearby. Loved my stay.

This is a beautiful property with a fantastic view of the harbour. Unfortunately, the heat was not working in the suite, and I ended up wearing my down jacket to bed at 1:00 AM. After more than 50 years of staying in Hotels I would have to say this was my worst experience ever. I know that things happen, but the staff was not sympathetic to my experience and made it sound like it was my fault that the heat did not work. After discussions with the General Manager, she finally conceded that I should not have to pay for a $350 room with no heat.

We want to assure you that upon inspection, there is nothing wrong with the heating system in the room or the hotel though. Perhaps there was a misunderstanding in operating the thermostat? We encourage guests to reach out to our front desk promptly if they experience any issues so we can address them immediately. We did discuss this matter with the you yesterday, and reiterated that our front desk team is available 24/7 to assist with any concerns, including adjusting the thermostat or arranging room changes if necessary. I didnt like that they immediately told me I must tell my guests to leave at 11pm when they weren’t being loud but it’s ok and I understand why. What a beautiful room and property. Ben at the front desk was awesome!
