“Will never go back!”

This hotel did not meet my expectations at all. I was assigned a smoking room and did not know this until I arrived. The room smelled terrible and the bathroom was dirty especially around the toilet and shower area. The beds were extremely hard and smelled very stale. The hotel location was right off the highway with nothing very close except for a truck stop/ McDonalds. I would cancel my next trip before having to stay there again!

“Lone Night at Lone Star”

From the moment you arrive at the hotel to the time you check out in the morning - you feel at home around your surroundings. They have a map available to show you where your room is located, but there is a no-nonsense layout to the hotel. I rated the 'convenience of hotel location' a "3" because my GPS was not able to locate it - I didn't think much of it since this was only a one night stay. Breakfast in the morning was a delicious warm meal with cereal and fruit options; cranberry and orange were two drink options as well as fresh coffee and hot water for tea. The bed was as comfortable as they come! As soon as your head hits the pillow you're out like a light! Cable TV, hair dryer, iron and ironing board are all amenities at this quaint hotel. A sofa bed is also available in the room for those moments to entertain guests or just to chill and watch TV! There is plenty of drawer space to unpack your sometimes bulgy or over-packed bags...there is plenty of time to make your stay at Lone Star feel more like home!

“Nice but expensive”

I would stay here again. The Victoria area is very expensive to visit, all of the hotels are overrun with oilfield workers so hotels charge way too much per night,

Great price for a nice fully equipped room. Friendly knowledgable staff. Good breakfast.

The hotel was clean and the staff was nice, the problem we had was the bed was extremely uncomfortable.

we arrive at to hotel check in we had reserve non smoking room but room smelt like smoke bad ask to change room, the other room key card would not work after using it we were lock out, they had to change out the whole locking system the next morning.

Stayed on business. Very good price. Good breakfast. Pretty good room.
