So much potential if anyone really cared

Posted 18-Sep-2014
This hotel is located in a great area of town but it lacks heart. The hotel staff were nice when pushed but lacked any knowledge of the surrounding area (frustrating). The rooms are very dated and require updates. I was afraid to walk barefoot on the carpet. It was just a disappointment all around.

Great Location

Posted 15-Sep-2014
Pros: Location and cleanliness. Every staff member we interacted with was very friendly and helpful. Check out/check in was very efficient.
Cons: The breakfast was a $15 buffet with a very limited choice and was barely warm, while the room was uncomfortably cold. Suite chairs need reupholstering
Location: A block from Victoria's Inner Harbour near the Legislature building and provincial museum. Walk to the Seattle ferry terminal. Nearby restaurants.
Conveniently located a block from Victoria's Inner Harbour within walking distance of many tourist attractions. The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. Parking in secure underground. Suite overlooked the Inner Harbour. Lots of trees and colorful plants surrounding the building. The front desk staff seemed genuinely friendly and remembered the reason (tournament) we were in Victoria when we encountered them the next day. We would go back there.

Close to ferry

Posted 05-Sep-2014
This hotel is across the street from the Clipper Ferry Terminal. Excellent upscale restaurant in an adjacent Victorian mansion. On site breakfast buffet was average and a bit pricey for what was provided. Convenient bike rental and easy walking distance to many downtown tourist activities. The downside was the dated room decor, scuffed walls, and grunge carpets. No hot tub or pool. If you plan to be out and about, this place is fine. If you like to lounge around the hotel to enjoy amenities, go somewhere else.

A good Hotel close to the Harbour

Posted 03-Sep-2014
Pros: Very nice rooms which were clean and comfortable. Close to amenities.
Cons: Breakfast could have been included along with free parking.
Location: Close to the Harbour and government buildings.
Quite a grand Hotel close to the Harbour in Victoria. Within easy walking distance of the Provincial Capital buildings and the Inner Harbour itself . Secure underground parking .Enjoyed my stay here

good location but badly need upgade

Posted 02-Sep-2014
hotel is basically clean but really need to be upgraded ... old carpet , broken tile, basic plumbing fixtures. Very noisy plumbing, you will be woken up by any adjacent rooms flushing the toilet or having a shower. Big tube tv .

Exactly what we were looking for!

Posted 25-Aug-2014
Pros: The environment. The beds are extremely comfortable!
Cons: Get rid of the watersaver shower heads it hard to enjoy a morning showere when you have to work to get wet!
Within a short walk to the water front. Friendly staff and a quiet environment, so spending time together is easy to do with the busy streets. By the water front there is lots to see and lots to do for just about everyone! I can’t wait to get back and do this all over again
