Great location - good facility

Posted 25-Sep-2014
Pros: Location
Cons: Lighting
Location: The hotel is only a block and a half from the ferry terminal.
The hotel has a very good location and the hotel is over all very nice. However, the room certainly could use more lights - especially over the desk. The shower head also leaked - sending water out onto the floor. The restaurant leaves a lot to be desired - the menu is almost non existent - so as a result they have very few customers.

Cons: New TV; room had an old box style tv with the channel selector knob missing.
Excellent location on Victor's inner harbour, close walking distance to most all attractions. Room was nice, the hotel has been upgraded/remodeled since the last time we were there in 2002. Very friendly and helpful staff.

So much potential if anyone really cared

This hotel is located in a great area of town but it lacks heart. The hotel staff were nice when pushed but lacked any knowledge of the surrounding area (frustrating). The rooms are very dated and require updates. I was afraid to walk barefoot on the carpet. It was just a disappointment all around.

Great Location

Pros: Location and cleanliness. Every staff member we interacted with was very friendly and helpful. Check out/check in was very efficient.
Cons: The breakfast was a $15 buffet with a very limited choice and was barely warm, while the room was uncomfortably cold. Suite chairs need reupholstering
Location: A block from Victoria's Inner Harbour near the Legislature building and provincial museum. Walk to the Seattle ferry terminal. Nearby restaurants.
Conveniently located a block from Victoria's Inner Harbour within walking distance of many tourist attractions. The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. Parking in secure underground. Suite overlooked the Inner Harbour. Lots of trees and colorful plants surrounding the building. The front desk staff seemed genuinely friendly and remembered the reason (tournament) we were in Victoria when we encountered them the next day. We would go back there.

Super close to the Victoria Clipper. This is a great place for a quick getaway from Seattle.
