Great location

Can't find much of anything negative about the Grand Pacific. Perhaps the slight noise from the planes which take off and land in the bay. We liked watching them ourselves and I'm sure anyone with children would as well. The front gardens didn't look as tidy as a few other large hotels. I'm sure that work would happen soon. We would stay again for sure

Wonderful experience!

Posted 20-Apr-2015
We stayed at Hotel Grand Pacific from April 3rd to the 8th and what a great experience we had. My kids (ages 13 and 10) loved the pool and of course room service. We all loved the harbour view and the suite provided us with plenty of space to do our own thing. The double sinks in the beautiful bathroom were a bonus and two TVs allowed for us to unwind in the evenings and have some options for tv watching. Rooms were clean and service was outstanding. And one thing we all loved were the comfortable beds! What a great sleep we had every night!

A few days in Victoria with my son

Posted 20-Apr-2015
Pros: Nice room with balcony overlooking the harbour; very good fitness facility and pool. Easy walking distance to several excellent pubs and restaurants.
Cons: Lounge and restaurant are a bit dark and stodgy; not a big deal because there are several other choices very close by.
Location: Close to everything in down-town Victoria. Be sure to take advantage of the bicycles!
Very good hotel in a great location. I can't think of a better location in down-town Victoria. Very friendly and helpful staff.

Close to the water

Posted 18-Apr-2015
Pros: Location
Cons: Changing the sheets every day would be good
Location: We did the ghostly tours, went to the museum, the castle, china town, and ate at some good places
It was a nice stay and close to a lot of neat tourist attractions

Great hotel and nice convenient location.

Posted 15-Apr-2015
Pros: Location, very good service and complimentary bicycles were great for a ride along the Galloping Goose trail.
Location: Close to everything
We had a great stay at the hotel and received a complimentary upgrade without asking. Celebrated our 35th Anniversary and had a great time. There was some work being done on the hotel in the back but this did not impact us at all

Good Hotel

Posted 13-Apr-2015
Pros: Convenient Location, Cleanliness and overall
Cons: A more attractive and friendly coffee shop on main floor instead of in the basement. Free Coffee in the room.
Location: Excellent location. Close to all attractions.
Overall satisfactory and pleasant. However, for the price that Expedia charged us our expectations were much higher than what was presented by the Hotel. Additionally we found the Hotel personnel feel Expedia was the "boss". They even refused to give us a settlement receipt. The Clerk said "get it from who ever sold you the room"!!!

Beauty of Victoria out the room's window

Posted 12-Apr-2015
Pros: Pretty much everything, but mostly the view.
Location: If you rent or drive a car, the hotel parking was very expensive.
The staff was on the spot always. Within walking distance to major attractions. Restaurant food was great.View was breath taking. Thought we would just get a left over room, but when we arrived our room had a breath taking view from the 7th floor! Would go back and stay again in a heart beat.
