Conveniently located just out of downtown

Posted 02-Aug-2015
Pros: Location, staff friendliness, fitness centre.
Cons: Complimentary underground parking.
Location: Quiet location just a minute's walk from The Empress. Get out and explore.
Enjoyed a quick stay at the Harbour Towers hotel. The location is quite ideal as it is walking distance from downtown, yet far enough to be very quiet. The fitness centre is surprisingly large and well equipped for a hotel. Only complaint of note was being told that parking was included, then being charged $15 for underground parking. Otherwise, I found this a pleasant enough hotel that I would stay at again.

Nice clean hotel close to the inner harbour.

Posted 01-Aug-2015
Pros: The Continental breakfast is excellent in choice, quantity and value
Cons: PS. The overhead and bathroom fans were really noisy!
. Staff (dealt mainly with Catherine ) were courteous and helpful to us, including storing our overnight bag for us for the few hours between check-out and departing Victoria.

Beautiful Room and View

Posted 31-Jul-2015
Location: It is in easy walking distance from the harbour. It is on the other side of the harbour from Chinatown
We paid a bit extra for an Harbour View. It was spectacular! The room was very spacious, included a balcony. The king-size bed was very comfortable. The hotel is well located- in a short walking distance from the Fairmont Empress that overlooks the Center of the Harbour.

Great Location, good parking, close to everything

Posted 30-Jul-2015
Pros: Location, size of room
Cons: Needs Air Conditioning in the room we had
Location: Great Location. Everything is within walking distance, Parliament Buildings, Harbour, Fairmont Empress, Museum, Imax, etc.
We loved this hotel and would definitely come back. The biggest issue we had was we were upgrade to a Penthouse which had great views of the harbour and was huge ( 2 stories ) but had no air conditioning. The upstairs got very hot during the day. Next time we would make sure we had air if we were to go back in the warmer days of summer. Everyone at the hotel was great and very helpful.

Overall, a good place to stay.

Pros: See above
Cons: See above
Location: This hotel is right on the inner harbour, near the BC Legislative buildings, theRoyal BC Museum, and the Victoria tourist information centre.
This hotel is in a great location, our room was nice enough, and the staff was terrific. The deal we got included the breakfast buffet, which was nothing fancy but perfectly good and there was certainly lots of food. The gym and pool were great. My only complaint about this hotel is that it's a bit worn around the edges. The carpets are a little worn, some of the towels are frayed at the edges, the floor of our balcony was badly worn - in short, it's an older building that is showing its age in places. But that's a fairly minor problem in a place that is great otherwise.
