Location: Only a few blocks from Inner Harbor and Fisherman's Wharf. Also near to beacon hill and government buildings.
Good location. Great views on both sides of hotel, especially on top floors. Rooms on ocean view side very hot due to afternoon sun.

I appreciate the 4 Stars and your comments. Indeed the south-facing rooms can get warm on really hot sunny days, but the ceiling fan helps when the balcony door/window is open, and it does cool down substantially at night, especially so when the black-out drapes are closed during the day. The Inner Harbour view sounds like it would be ideal in the summer. Hope to see you again. Sincerely, Kay Koot, general manager

Great Location for this Hotel

Posted 16-Sep-2014
We loved the location and the overall experience of this hotel especially the details like the fresh water in the lobby. However certain things were overlooked like the chrome needed polishing in the elevator and the towels in the bathroom smelled very musty and not fresh, though they looked clean. We appreciated having the reasonably priced continental breakfast with many choices.

I'm happy to see the 4 stars and your comments. My team's efforts to keep the water station filled and clean glasses stocked is appreciated! Our linens are laundered by an outside company and should certainly smell fresh as well as be clean. Glad to read that you found our $8 continental breakfast to be reasonably-priced with plenty of choices. Best regards, Kay Koot, general manager

Prime location near Victoria harbour

Posted 16-Sep-2014
Pros: Great service, clean facilities. superb location
Cons: There is no AC in the rooms - although rarely needed
This hotel is excellent value for a location within easy walking distance of most of the sights of downtown Victoria. Staff were all very accommodating, and went out of their way for extra needs. The in-house restaurant is also good. Exercise room is very well equipped. I would return, and also recommend it to others.

Nice hotel on harbour in Victoria

Posted 14-Sep-2014
Pros: Freindly staff, Great view. Easy walking to downtown Victoria.
Cons: All was good for us.
Location: Easy access to downtown Victoria including the museum and Parliament Buildings.
On general conversation at check in mentioned to the lady at the front desk that we were there to celebrate our anniversary. Apparently word got out because we were treated royally including free parking, beautiful array of chocolate covered fruit and a free fancy drink at the bar. We were treated very well and will be returning.

Great Staff

Posted 12-Sep-2014
We booked a suite to stay overnight after my wife’s surgery in Victoria. The staff could not have been more accommodating and helpful, from the front desk staff to the breakfast buffet staff to the housekeeping staff. Everyone was friendly and courteous. The suite was spacious, comfortable and useful under the circumstance with it’s kitchenette. We would highly recommend this hotel to others and will stay there again in the future.

my favorite place in Victoria.

I can't say anything bad about this hotel. even if you're not lucky enough to stay in one of the top floors where the view is incredible, the lower floor rooms are great anyway. 5 minute walk to fishermans wharf in one direction and about 10 minutes walk to the Victoria harbour.

Dear Blair, I thank you very much for your 5 stars and the fabulous comments you've added. We count on welcoming you back, especially when the weather in Victoria is likely much warmer than Edmonton! Sincerely, Kay Koot, general manager

It sounds like you've stayed with us a few times before Blair, so I'm even more pleased to read and share your review and the 5 stars. Indeed the 12th floor Penthouse suites with 2 levels and balconies on both are special but anything from the 8th floor up also provides awesome views of either the Inner Harbour or Olympic Mountains / Strait of Juan de Fuca. Come back in the winter when Victoria is the warmest capital city in Canada! Sincerely, Kay Koot, general manager
