untidy environment.

Posted 12-Sep-2014
Pros: Location
Cons: Staff training required for front desk and house keeping.
Location: Convenient location, lots of sight seeing.
As soon as we entered to the hotel, feel like entering fish store. Because pool is next to front desk and it wasn't clean enough to eliminate smell. Same thing with room.

Great location close to everything

Posted 07-Sep-2014
Pros: The location and the staff
Cons: Cleaning in rooms
Location: Near inner harbour, IMAX and downtown
We have enjoyed staying here in the past. Found it not so clean this time. Bathtub had a dead silverfish and short dark hairs in it. Screen in room was very dirty. The room was warm even with the fan on. Front desk helpful and all the staff kind.

Overpriced for the quality.

Posted 03-Sep-2014
Pros: Location
Cons: The rate were excessive for the quality of the room. $60-70 would have been a fair rate for this room.
The room was small and the bathroom awkward (had to step up to enter). We felt that the cost was excessive given the size of the room and the unusual bathroom step. The best thing about the Hotel was that it was literally across the street from the Black Ball Ferry from Victoria to Port Angeles, Wa. It was also quite convenient for walking about the Inner Harbor of Victoria to the shops, restaurants, and other attractions.

Right on the harbor

Posted 26-Aug-2014
Pros: Close to the harbor and everything else and yet you still felt like you were not in the middle of a busy town. Very peaceful.
Cons: Nothing.
Loved everything except the fact that at the restaurant my granddaughter and I were celebrating completing the West Coast Trail. She wanted to order a glass of wine and presented her passport. The server actually asked for a 2nd piece of ID, which she didn't have. Servers need to use common sense. A passport is the ULTIMATE form of ID (at least it is in every other province/country)

Close to Victoria Harbor

Posted 21-Aug-2014
Hotel is convenient to the ferry and harbor area. No room air conditioning but a floor fan is provided. Watch out for the step up between the room and the bathroom. Jacuzzi and pool are nice.
