Not for value

Posted 14-Sep-2014
Location: Location is in the downtown area which is good.
The other hotels could give better quality for not much different cost.

Stayed at best western carton plaza on first night of seven days on the island. Great location which is walking distance to many downtown restaurants and shopping. Beautiful hotel, would definitely stay there again.

Great Location

Posted 28-Aug-2014
A group of 10 stayed here two nights for a bachlorette weekend. Our rooms were clean and comfortable. One suite had a more recently updated kitchen but they were both fully functional. The location was a great starting point for downtown activities day and night. Advice upon checkout, valet can take about half an hour to bring your can around if it is busy, so plan accordingly.

Great location - shopping and harbour

Posted 17-Aug-2014
Pros: Location, kitchen in on-suite, pullout bed, staff.
Cons: Access to stairs for people who don't want to take elevator because of motion sickness.
Location: Easy to maneuver to shopping areas, harbour, restaurants, market and courtyard.
Front desk was really helpful. We had a two bedroom suite with a pullout bed. It was comfortable and accommodating. The gym had good equipment and was open early.

Location is the only thing going for this hotel.

Food/ room service horrible. Was at the front desk for 3/4 hr because they gave us a room with no fridge. They said I was a long stay so they gave us a room with no fridge. Does that make sense.... No! Finally we suggested we stay in the room because it was late at night and we were tired. Bathroom small, room for 1 person. Housekeeping sad, room not clean, soap dispenser empty for 2 days, plastic glasses not replaced, bath tub matt and shower curtain filthy, long black hair on shower curtain, dirty q tip on floor

Great service

Pros: location
Location: symphony on the water, museum
There was a problem at check in that was corrected and they most generously paid for our dinner. The free bikes were an added bonus and access to computers and printer. Very friendly professional staff at all times.
