Rooms are nice and clean, staff is friendly. Homeless people around the building. Breakfast consisted of tea, coffee, juice and choice of 2 granola bars. Pond green water in the pool.

The hotel was very conveniently located and the staff was nice. The TV worked, the bathroom was fine, the heater was sufficient, and the bed was comfortable enough. Those were the positives. As for the negatives, there was a bad smell, i could also smell weed smoke coming through the vents despite the signs saying smoking of any kind was prohibited. The microwave had what appeared to be pubic hair left inside of it and it was very dirty and the mini fridge had roach feces in it. We only used the room to sleep and shower so we chose not to complain to the front desk. Im only reviewing now so others can be made aware that this hotel is cheap yes, but its cheap for a reason.

If I could give it a 0 star I would . There’s roaches in the room and stank bugs crawling everywhere on the windows. They also take a copy of your card and your id which I feel is very unsafe and could lead to my information being linked. Wouldn’t recommend nor will never go to again.

1. There was pubic hair on the commode. 2. Mildew growing on the back wall of the bathtub liner. 3. Hair on the tub, the curtain dirty and its rod loose so the curtain would not stay closed at the edges. One of the towels was folded wet and check in was slow. The staff was more interested on balancing their books than on me tired almost at 11:00 pm checkin in. Convenient location.

Decent for the price. Carpets and shower need a good scrub. Construction crews stay often so grease stains. Pillows suck, bed firm but comfortable.

Good but need some tweeking
My stay was good. The staff the guy at the front desk was really nice to me and friendly.I slept very comfortably in my bed. The only problem I had was the restroom behind the door was really dirty like it needed to be swept.. the tub looked dirty and the tub had hairs in it. I had to spray the tub with the cleaning products I usually bring.. if I pay to stay I don’t want to see anything hairs any places in the room. Also I feel like they need replace the some of the things like the ironing board, the fixtures and shades.. it’s was rusted..

The room did not look like it had been cleaned. The beds were made, but there was hair in the sheets. I called the front desk and she gave me clean sheets. Although the building is older. They need to clean thoroughly.

My stay at this Howard Johnson was excellent!! The staff was amazing. The rooms were very clean and the beds were very comfortable. The area around the hotel was clean but dated as well as the bathrooms in the room. Overall I loved my stay and would not hesitate to stay again!!

Nice for an overnight stay. Very limited breakfast which is ok. Very close to everything, the Vicksburg National Military Park and historic downtown area as well. Close to the highway exit. We parked right by our first-floor room.

I loved my stay I just wished at a certain point someone would have controlled the crowd we definitely couldn’t get much sleep but I understand that it was a younger crowd because of the events that was talking place but overall 10/10 recommends if needing a place to stay

Mediocre at best. Bathroom was not clean, visible dirt, grime and hairs on tub, toothpaste splatters in sink faucet and filthy carpet. Breakfast included granola bar and instant grits, coffee and juice. I have never been more thankful to arrive late and leave early.

Horrible hotel. The guy kept saying no smoking as if I didn’t reserve a no smoking room. The room had small flies, tub was filthy, 19” tv, and cigarette ashes in the nightstand drawer. For the price it was quite ridiculous. This place is on the interstate so getting customers isn’t an issue. $76 should have been $52. Also the room had a pet smell.
