The hotel is centrally located, close to the beach, bus and train stations. There is also a park across the road. The owners were very helpful and printed out information for us. The food was excellent, as were the staff. A very clean and comfortable hotel, Good restaurants are also close by. We would certainly stay here again.

The hotel is ideally located being just over the road from the beach and a few minutes walk from the shops & restaurants. The train station is a 10 minute walk away at the top of the road and has frequent services to other nearby towns.
Like many hotels in the resort, it is small but the rooms are very clean, the staff/owners very helpful and friendly and the food is very good.
Viareggio itself is a nice smallish seaside resort with a lovely beach although like many Italian resorts sunbeds are obligatory even for just a couple of hours. The sea is also teaming with jellyfish although this didn't seem to worry most people. A good base to explore the local area.

"Great family run establishment close to the beach"
Great service is provided by the family that runs this establishment. They helped us with all our needs from the time we arrived to accommodating a late departure so we could enjoy one more day at the beach. The property is one block away from the beach front and promenade with all the retail shops and restaurants.
The property is clean. Nicely remolded bathrooms. The breakfast was very good and included scrambled eggs and fresh fruit every morning (not something you find in many European hotels). Dinner reservations, recommendations for local events, help with parking and wine selections were all a part of the services personally arranged by the hotel staff/ owners.
It was a great place to stay one block off the beach in Viareggio.

Pietrasanta worth a trip especially in the evening ,went on the train but be careful of the times taxi is expensive , restaurant vineria osteria very good.
Will return to Hotel Katy and Tuscany very soon.

Stayed here to celebrate my husband's birthday. It was everything we hoped for. The hotel provided a bottle of Prosecco which we sipped on our balcony watching the sun going down. Breakfast was very good and had everything that 2 adults and 2 teenagers could want. The simple biscotti were amazing and had that 'just out of the oven' taste. Hotel was very well placed - we caught the train to both Pisa and Florence.

Lovely hotel, great location, helpful staff. Spacious room, nice seaview, very handy fridge in the room for kids` snacks and beer... Good breakfast with fantastic coffee. Beach is across the road and also lovely park across another road. Lots to do in Viareggio anyway. The only disadvantage is parking. You need to pay for parking, anywhere you go. We managed to find a free parking on the other side of the park, otherwise it`s 10 euro a day by the hotel. We would definitely go there again !!!
