“A great place to stay”

Very convenient if you are arriving at Verona via the shuttle bus from the airport or by train. Not quite so convenient for visiting the main attractions (though there are local buses). The hotel was clean, comfortable and the staff were very polite and helpful. No hesitstion inrecommending the the hotel to anyone visiting this magnificent city.

“Delightfully pleased”

This hotel is classed as a three star but we think it was equal to a four star. Very clean, wonderful breakfasts - plenty of fruit ( which we like ). Extremely helpful at front reception, everybody that we spoke to tried their hardest to find information for us.

Chose hotel from reviews on website and found them to be very accurate. Hotel was excellent, very comfortable with helpful,friendly staff. Very good breakfast included in the reasonable room rate. Very convenient for station and frequent bus service or short walk into town. Would happily go back and recommend to friends.

“A great regional base”

As per other reviews we found this to be a really good hotel, better than expected. The hotel staff were all very friendly and seemed to be fluent in a number of languages. Their local knowledge was extremely helpful and efficient. The room was as you would expect from a three star hotel with plenty of space. Similarly the complimentary breakfast provided was good. The location is the real selling point or detraction depending on your circumstances. For single people they may find that the area is a bit disconcerting when walking back at night although we never saw or heard of any trouble and a torch really isn't necessary. For those wishing to see more of the area than just Verona the hotel is ideal as it is a few minutes walk from the main bus and train stations, also the hotel has a 24 hour receptionist so there is no problem getting back in no matter what time you arrive back. The walk in to the centre of the city takes roughly 20 minutes and passes a number of cashpoints which are in well lit open areas. Verona has many options for food and drink to cater for a variety of different budgets and the quality is generally high. There is also plenty to see and do to occupy at least three to four days here alone. Lake Garda is 20 minutes away on the train, Vicenze 30-45mins, Padua an hour and Venice 1.5 to 2 hours (and only 6 Euros for a single).

“Good location & value for money”

Situated close to the main railway & bus station in a quiet area. 20 minutes walk to Piazza Bra (Arena & restaurants). Very helpful hotel staff. Room very clean. They supply a compliment of fruit the first day. Very nice touch !

“Good base to see Verona”

Very good hotel to use as a base, excellent service and staff make every effort to help. Close to train station, but quiet. Easy 15 minute walk into Verona.

“Room too small for three adults”

There was nothing wrong with this hotel, it was very easy to walk to it from the railway station and once you knew the route, it only took 20mins to walk to the main Piazza Bra. We were three adults in what was a room meant for only 2 people so it felt a bit constrained. I would recommend it to anyone who wanted to stay near the railway station.

The Rossi provided comfortable accomodation for our 3 night stay in Verona. Very convienient for transport links to both the airport and surrounding destinations. The location was a bit of a problem being a 15 minute walk to the city and late at night did not feel that safe. There was always the option of the taxi which spoilt the opportunity of a stroll after an evening meal. The hotel desperately needs a bar where you can take a nightcap. Buffet breakfast was very good and the staff throughout the hotel were excellent.

“Cheerful”

On arrival the hotel staff were friendly and efficient at check in. The room was clean howver slightly small. The bathroom was clean. The radiators/ heating was not working however was not necessary during my stay. The hotel staff were helpful and offered to check if local sights were open and train times and gave advice of good places to go. The breakfast was very simple - continental.
