“chris from london (uk)”
This hotel is on top of all the site and amazing location, the staff where very helpful and went the extra mile. Rooms very nice and shower was great. Places to eat only 5 min walk and shops in the centre of sites food is amazing around the centre and hotel. Best city break so far and i travel 3 or 4 times in a year. If u go to italy look into this hotel.
“good deal,”
tiny room,,has their own parking lot, walking distance to down town
“A nice quiet clean friendly hotel”
The hotel was nice, staff were very friendly & luckily spoke better English than we did Italian!! Was about 15 minute walk from one of the main Piazza's which in quieter residential neighbourhood. Hotel was very clean. Would definitely consider going again
“Great hotel in Verona”
Hotel Italia is very well placed with an easy 5 minute walk to the river where there are beautiful views and then another 5 minutes to the centre of the old city. My [single] room was very comfortable, spotlessly clean and spacious enough, the breakfast buffet was excellent and the staff were very nice and helpful. The hotel is on a fairly main road but it is very quiet thanks to the very efficient double glazing. There is a supermarket just up the road and there are plenty of buses running by the hotel – great for getting back to the hotel after a long day’s sightseeing – which is inevitable as the city is so beautiful. I would definitely recommend Hotel Italia as a good value, very comfortable and pleasant hotel.
“Good value and Location”
The hotel was a little out from the main centre with 20 to 30 minute walk to the arena. It was well located for most of the sites, the staff were very friendly and helpfull. Walking back at 1;30am after the opera is a lonely walk! The facilities were basic, there was no evening meal available and the outdoor space was not well located Travel- plenty of buses available to various parts varona It was good value and I would go back
“would use again”
excellent base for visiting verona, only 10 min walk to the centre, buffet style breakfast is very good, room and public areas clean and tidy, garage parking is 12 euros a night, good value.
“The nicest staff you'll ever meet!”
In short, if you’re looking for an immaculate, welcoming abode, this is the place for you. I was in Verona for 5 days on business so I didn't expect to have much interaction with my hotel; I left early morning and came back late evening. However, the staff managed to make my stay quite memorable; it was the little things, like always being alert in the reception, always smiling, speaking extremely good English, being very friendly, taking care of any problems in a very efficient way (there was a problem with the telephone in my room and every single member of staff seemed to be aware of it and giving me updates until they fixed it) and, in general, being helpful and friendly in the nicest possible way. Due to lack of time I didn’t make use of hotel facilities such as the spa etc, but the room and the common areas was as clean as they come and decorated in a discreet, classical taste; the room was at the back so it was also quiet, despite the hotel being on a busy street (convenient for public transport and a 15min picturesque walk to the city centre; also featuring amazing little pizza place right next to the hotel). I would definitely recommend Hotel Italia to travellers who need simple things done perfectly, as it's one of the cleanest, most welcoming hotels I’ve stayed in.
“Value for Money”
Pleasant, helpful staff. Reasonable location and quality of room for the price. Would stay there again.
“better than expected”
even after reading some reviews I that were not too flattering. I decided to take a chance , and I found the hotel to be clean and friendly. we are not that fit as we are in our late 50's 60's, and it took us only 15 minutes to reach the town. the hotel staff were very helpful and spoke english very well. its not the hilton, but we didnt pay hilton prices. I would use it again.
“Very nice centrally located hotel”
The hotel has great location! It is nice and comfortable. The staff is really helpful. The room was beautiful and extremely clean. Liked that my room had a balcony. It's convenient to stay in this hotel because you're very close to the "happening zone" without being in the middle of it, it takes a 5 to 15 minute walk to get to most of the main attractions. Close to the hotel there are many convenient spots: supermarket, drug store, pizzerias, hospital. The breakfast of the hotel is "so so", but it's OK. Would recommend this hotel.
