“Good experience”
This an excellent hotel and the staff is very friendly and helpful. Extremely clean and is obviously newer or recently remodeled. Hightly recommended.Herb
“Great hotel”
Very comfortable, great location, wonderful breakfast and nice, friendly staff. Also, was nice to have a hydromassage bath at the end of the day with relaxing citrus oils provided by the hotel.
“Could not ask for more.”
I am racking y brains for a complaint about this hotel and cannot find one. The room was more than everything we could ask for, jacuzzi bath, complimentary tea and coffee, pillow chocolates... Location is 5 min walk from the centre of Verona with the arena. Supermarket just down the road. Breakfast was so varied I had something different each day. Incredible!
“Very pleasant experience”
The staff were very helpful and friendly. The room was spacious with a nice bathroom and it was quiet at night. The breakfast was fantastic with very nice coffee. Usually I have to dash out to a bar to have a decent coffee when staying in a hotel in Italy, but this hotel had a very good machine in the breakfast area. The only thing we would have liked was some complementary body lotion in the bathroom, but apart from that very minor point, we were very satisfied.
“Verona for the operas”
We would highly recommend the Best Western Firenze hotel for your city stay. The location just a few minutes easy walk from the bus & train station is another benefit after arriving late by the airport bus link. A 15 minute walk the other way along a beautiful boulevard takes you to the arena and city centre. A comfortable and quiet room at the rear just helped make for a memorable stay in Verona.
“Spot on”
The convenience of the hotel's location between the Arena and the stations made this a good choice for a short stay, as we visited Lake Garda as well as Verona's sights. The hotel is comfortable and traditionally furnished, although a recent upgrade has introduced some high tech accessories to the rooms. The jacuzzi shower is quite an experience and has directions requiring great perseverance. The staff are very helpful and knowledgeable about Verona and transport links to the surrounding area.
“Exceeded our expectations.”
I've seen good reviews for this hotel. However, when my wife and I stayed there for one night, the hotel exceeded our expectations. The deluxe room was not very large, but very clean, well lit and comfortable. Service was good. Breakfast was particularly good with a large selection of meats, cheeses and fruits - all very tasty. The location is very convenient - 5 minutes walk from the train station and less than 10 minutes from the historic center. Very good stay overall.
“Good location between station and town centre.”
This hotel lived up to and beyond our expectations. It is an easy flat 10 minute walk from the train station where the shuttle bus drops you from the airport (even with cases on wheels). Walk 10 minutes the other way and you are through the gates into the old city and then at the arena. Breakfast has enough choice for all and you can fill up with as much as you care to. Didn't eat in for any other meals - it is much more appealing to choose from the many quality restaurants in town. Ask the staff for recommendations of where the locals like to eat and you won't go far wrong. Beautiful city that can be toured on foot. There is something new around every corner. Take in a concert or opera at the arena - you can get tickets before you go. Lake garda is worth a train / bus ride - try Sirmione on the south side. You can't be disappointed. Verona - best few days we've ever had.
“italy traveler”
Great location, great room, comfortable beds, great breakfast and free internet.
“The basis for a great two weeks in Verona”
I do not usually write reviews as it is really all about personal experience and approach. However, this hotel was so good I have responsibility to repay their help and assistance by writing something about the hotel. What ever we wanted from directions to taxi bookings and provision of an ironing board and iron or simply help with a small problem with our phone help was immediate and carried out in a friendly way. The breakfasts were a great start to the day. Despite the wide range on offer, the staff were continually checking to make sure the food, drinks and utensils etc were fully supplied and each had a friendly greeting as we arrived. The rooms were a good size and the cleaning staff were meiculous in making sure everything was cleaned and replacement items were provided. Despite their busy schedule they all had a smile and a happy greeting. We are thinking of going to Verona again next year and we will certainly stay at the Best Western Hotel Firnze again.
