“Bungalows are great”

Great privacy in the bungalows, directly on the beach for a swim or run and right across the street from the mall that has anything you might need.

“Hotel Playa Paraiso”

My overall experience was good and I would return to this hotel. The rooms are clean and the swimming pools are certainly adequete. The front desk staff were friendly, but one of the three rooms were not ready at checkin and we had to wait an additional hour. However, they allowed us to checkout an extra hour later. My one negative comment would be that one of the staff members who was cleaning around the pooldeck was aggressive with us when we were sitting by the pool at dark . The poolsclosed at 8 and it was 6:00. She clearly wanted to go home and did not want to clean around us; however after telling her we were within hotel policy to be there she backed off.

“Endured hurricane Karl at this hotel and we were safe and sound.”

We were at the hotel when Hurricane Karl hit Veracruz. The hotel withstood the fierce of the wind and water with only one broken window by the palapa by the beach. The only complaint we have is that we lost power for a few hours after the hurricane and the hotel does have a generator. The hotel offered sandwiches and drinks for purchase. Because of the power outage, the restaurants were closed. The pools and grounds were clean the day after the hurricane and ready to be used. This is my second stay at this hotel. I would go back.

“Great location and nice privacy”

Getting a Villa isn't too expensive and it's like renting your own condo - almost on the beach. Very family friendly and right across from a nice mall. Good value.
