Perfect Location

Pros: Perfect location. friendly staff, well run and clean.
Venice is a lovely place to visit, although during the month of July when we went it was very busy as most of the streets are very narrow. Just be careful where you eat and drink as some of the bars/restaurants can be expensive.

Excellent position for sightseeing.

Pros: The staff were very friendly and the location was perfect. Breakfast was buffet style and was always being replenished by very attentive staff.
Location: The hotel is in the centre of venice only 5 mins walk from St Marks square close to the realto and academia bridge beautiful shops /restaurants.
The hotel was in the centre of venice just behind St marks square you need a map to Find the hotel. The vaperetto is the best way get to the hotel this takes about 80 mins then walk from St Marco or Gigilo, Gigilo was the closest stop to the hotel.

This hotel is a GEM. Hotels may say they are in San Marco and the location is just a minute from the Basilica but this hotel is perfectly just a few steps away and just a few steps and your at Accadamia for convienice, Plus your somewhat far away from the crowds. The only issue I saw was there was no garden to enjoy a relaxing moment inside of your hotel other than your room. But then in it's location you should be out and about at a café having a drink and being a true Venician. PS the Staff makes you feel like a local which is GREAT!

Nice hotel, friendly staff. We had 1 room booked for 4 people, plenty of space- 2 twin beds and bunk beds. Breakfast was good but not great. Ideal location though.

Nice hotel centrally located

Posted 02-Jun-2014
Pros: Staff, location
Cons: The lighting in the bathroom was horrible. I had to hang out of the bedroom window to try and put on make-up, as the bathroom is really dark.
Location: Lots of upscale boutiques, St. Mark's, vaporetto stop
I was expecting a small room, as that is usually the case in Venice, but it was strange to have a very small traditional room and a huge modern bathroom. I would have preferred it the other way around. I did not eat breakfast while I was there, but I did see it, and it seemed like a nice buffet selection. Air conditioning worked well!

Brilliant location

Posted 26-May-2014
Pros: Small and friendly - exactly what I expected.
Cons: Only a couple of things let the room down, which could have been easliy rectified - though we didn't complain. Toilet seat loose and curtain re-fixing
The location of this hotel was just brilliant, just a couple of minutes walk from San Marco Square. Our room was located in the hotel annex, just round the corner from the main hotel. Although our view wasn't great, we didn't suffer any street noise at night and didn't hear any noise from any of the other residents. The hotel was small and it's staff were really friendly. The lady on the reception was exceptional (sorry didn't get her name). The cold buffet breakfast had plenty of choice.

little gem in a perfect location

We had a wonderful stay at the Hotel Torino. Reception staff could not do enough to help us including suggesting restaurants. Perfect location close to St Marks Square and grand canal. No hot water was a downside and breakfast in an extremely cramped breakfast room with a rather cranky waitress was an adventure.
