Wonderful staff

Posted 28-Oct-2014
Pros: We liked the room decor, our terrace outside our room, the staff, the comfy bed, the location, the cleanliness - pretty much everything.
Cons: Our shower cubicle and an extra person to help out at breakfast
Location: This hotel is situated close to the Accademia bridge giving good access to places of interest on the other side of the canal; also close to St Mark's.
We stayed here for 4 nights in the Annexe and we loved it. The shower cubicle needed updating but we thought the rest of the facilities were good for the price. The breakfast area is very small but they will bring it to you room free of charge, however, we had a table every morning with no waiting. The location of the hotel is fantastic, close to St Mark's but quiet in the night. The staff here are wonderful and so helpful with all enquiries - we felt as if we mattered to them and would definitely stay here again.

Lovely hotel, in an ideal location.

Had 4 nights here in October. Had a lovely time and the location was perfect. The only downfall was been woken up by bin emptying at 8am.

Perfect Location

Posted 02-Aug-2014
Pros: Perfect location. friendly staff, well run and clean.
Venice is a lovely place to visit, although during the month of July when we went it was very busy as most of the streets are very narrow. Just be careful where you eat and drink as some of the bars/restaurants can be expensive.

Excellent position for sightseeing.

Pros: The staff were very friendly and the location was perfect. Breakfast was buffet style and was always being replenished by very attentive staff.
Location: The hotel is in the centre of venice only 5 mins walk from St Marks square close to the realto and academia bridge beautiful shops /restaurants.
The hotel was in the centre of venice just behind St marks square you need a map to Find the hotel. The vaperetto is the best way get to the hotel this takes about 80 mins then walk from St Marco or Gigilo, Gigilo was the closest stop to the hotel.

This hotel is a GEM. Hotels may say they are in San Marco and the location is just a minute from the Basilica but this hotel is perfectly just a few steps away and just a few steps and your at Accadamia for convienice, Plus your somewhat far away from the crowds. The only issue I saw was there was no garden to enjoy a relaxing moment inside of your hotel other than your room. But then in it's location you should be out and about at a café having a drink and being a true Venician. PS the Staff makes you feel like a local which is GREAT!

Nice hotel, friendly staff. We had 1 room booked for 4 people, plenty of space- 2 twin beds and bunk beds. Breakfast was good but not great. Ideal location though.

Nice hotel centrally located

Posted 02-Jun-2014
Pros: Staff, location
Cons: The lighting in the bathroom was horrible. I had to hang out of the bedroom window to try and put on make-up, as the bathroom is really dark.
Location: Lots of upscale boutiques, St. Mark's, vaporetto stop
I was expecting a small room, as that is usually the case in Venice, but it was strange to have a very small traditional room and a huge modern bathroom. I would have preferred it the other way around. I did not eat breakfast while I was there, but I did see it, and it seemed like a nice buffet selection. Air conditioning worked well!
