“Venice charm”

Really loved this hotel...half way between everything in Venice. Breakfast was very nice.

Great hotel. Clean with good air conditioning. The staff was very helpful in getting us to the airport for our flight.

Very well located, between San Marco square and Rialto bridge, got a good price through Expedia.com. The breakfast is very good and the staff is friendly. The only odd thing is that our room was in another building across the square, but that's how things work in Venice!

Great location. The street surroundings were quiet & clean. Plus, close to San Marco square. Moreover, the breakfast we had there was awesome. We will definately return if we ever get a chance again.

I was robbed in Rome and had no money for a water taxi to get to the hotel. After several phone calls regarding this, the hotel kindly agreed to pay for the water taxi and my husband would reimburse them when he arrived the following morning. Then they also found something for my daughter and I to eat because we had no way to pay for dinner. The staff there was very nice and helpful for the remainder of our stay. The location was excellent. It is a nice walk to St. Marks Basilica and to Rialto Bridge. Good restaurants are close by. Breakfast was not a hot breakfast, but was still satisfactory. Internet is not available in the rooms, but is available in the lobby. I would gladly stay here again. Off season prices were very reasonable.

Make sure to stay in the main part of the hotel; I heard some other guests complaining about their accommodations in the Annex.

The hotel Santa Marina was a very nice hotel from many aspects i.e.Decor,Cleanliness and really pleasant and helpful staff both day and night shifts.Especially as our luggage was lost by our airline the staff gave 100% assistance in getting it back.Excellent location 300m from Rialto bridge 10min walk from St.Marks Sq and very reasonable rates.We would certainly go again.

Great location to see all the major attractions. Easily accessible from the airport by water taxi and only 5 Euros !! hotel is then only a 5/10 minute walk from the drop off point. Hotel Santa Marina has friendly helpful staff on hand at all times, rooms are compact but comfortable with maid service everyday. There is a great restaurant just around the corner called Marco Polo, food was amazing, service was exceptional and a meal for two costs around 60 pounds with wine - well worth a visit. One watch out is the high tides - this means that the whole of Venice floods and you will see locals wandering around in a pair of waders, you can however buy a tourist alternative of plastic overboots for around 8 euros but be warned they can spring a leak.
