“Worked for Us”
Nice little hotel and within close walking distance of the rail station and bus station and just a little further to the cruise terminals. Pleasant staff and nice breakfast. Rooms are small but what isn't in Venice. A very handy hotel
“recomeded good value”
Ca Lucrezia was in a very convienent position for the railway station and the water buses and only a 5 minute walk to piazza roma for the buses to the airport. Could have been better with a fridge in the room.Room was clean and quiet.
“satisfied”
The hotel is very reasonably priced, conveniently located close to the bus from the airport, the water bus and train station. The amenities of the room and breakfast are a reflection of the price. This hotel is clean and offers everything you need. The bathroom is small but it is clean and modern. Breakfast is satisfying but offers a limited selection. There is no elevator. I would highly recommend the hotel to anyone wanting to save a little money in lieu of some of the ammenities you expect at a higher priced hotel. The staff was very helpful and patient, we were travelling with a very demanding guest and even all her needs were met. Had the best pizza in all of Italy at a take away place just around the corner from the hotel, wish I could remember the name of the place! It was the first pizza stand on the left as you headed into the retail area around the hotel.
“Great location”
My wife and I were taking a cruise from Venice and wanted to get there early. We picked this hotel for its location. It is an easy 5 min. walk from Venezia P.le. Roma. and its located close to an Actv line stop. The only thing you have to watch, is the road it is located on is real narrow and we walked right past it the first time. When we were ready to go to our ship it was a short 20 minute walk. We cruised on Princess and it was docket at the Port of Venice. The hotel is small and reception closes at 9:00 pm.so if you are planning on getting there late you might want to make arrangements. The room was clean and a good size for Europe. Breakfast was good, and the staff was real helpful. They held our luggage for us until we were ready to go to the ship on the last day we were there. All in all this was a great stay at a great price.
“ok stay”
for the price its ok. no elevator no front desk staff after 7 pm or so. beds are hard. extra blanket in closet had a white stain.
“Easy to Find and Convenient”
The hotel is close to the Piazza Roma and the Train station as well as an ACTV (Transit System) stop. Rooms are clean and the bathroom is spacious. There is no elevator so pack lightly (actually, always pack lightly in Venice...it's a tough walk over the bridges and stairs with heavy suitcases). Breakfast is good and the young lady at the front desk was very helpful with directions and suggestions.
“Magical Venice”
A great little hotel in a terrific location. Tucked down what felt like Diagon Alley then bursting straight onto the Grand Canal. Wow! Ideal for railway and bus stations, and vaporetto and water taxi stops. Also lots f shops, bars restaurants etc v. close by,and a little cheaper than nr. Rialto or St mark's areas.Small, friendly and spotless hotel, with simple but adequate breakfast in a lovely secluded patio area. We would definitely stay there again.
“More than satisfying”
I read one other review and I totally disagree. This hotel is not a 5-star luxurious resort and it does not claim to be so. If you're looking for a reasonable, (very) clean place with a good location, this hotel is just the place...
“disapointed”
this hotel has nice reviews and pictures but and i expected more from it - it turned out to be the worst from all hotels we stayed in italy. There was nothing wrong with it but and nothing to impress you - just bed and breakfast - not worth the money. I'll rather stay in another hotel next time.
“hyggeligt, møbleret i gammel stil passende til Venedig. Super dejlig morgenmad”
vil bo der igen næste gang og blive flere dage
