Pros: The staff
staff at the hotel were very friendly and informative. The hotel itself is in easy walking distance to all the major attractions and easy access to the water taxi routes.

Nice part of the city.

Posted 02-Aug-2014
Pros: Very nice hotel with nice finishings. We enjoyed our stay. It was a little over priced but Venice in general is expensive.
Cons: For the nightly cost a free minibar would have be great.
Location: 10 min to St Marks square and all the Venice has to offer.
Venice is something to see. We enjoyed our time there. Did lots of walking and exploring the many side streets. Had a few memorable times we will surely think about for years to come.

Beautiful view onto the lagoon

Posted 24-Jul-2014
Cons: Mirrors only in the bathroom. Could have done with one outside.
Location: St Marks Sq. about 15min walk away.
Nice hotel located on the lagoon in a quieter area. About a 15min walk to St Marks Square (at times we wished it were closer after a long day of walking). Beautiful view onto the lagoon. Hotel was pleasant and staff were very willing to help. The free gift to visit Murano was nice.

Lovely hotel with Superb Views

Posted 15-Jul-2014
Pros: The hotel was quiet and unassuming, in a classic style, staff are friendly and gracious.
Cons: The beds in our room do need to be replaced soonish, they are a little bard and lumpy
Location: The location for us was excellent, just a 10 min stroll to St Marks square,
A lovely hotel, a short stroll from the madness of St Marks Square, but with terrific views. The hotel is charming with tasteful (yacht style) d├ęcor, and right on the harbour side affording it clear views across the lagoon into Venice and the Grand Canal. The rooms are very clean the bathrooms are well lit. The staff are very courteous, attentive and happy to help. We celebrated our wedding anniversary there and we had a wonderful time in Venice, in no small part to the relaxing environment at the hotel.

On the lagoon

Posted 13-Jul-2014
Pros: Style, character, quality and location
Cons: Nothing
Location: So close to the heart of Venice that everything is on your doorstep.
Wanted to treat my wife to somewhere special at the end of a romantic week - Venice - Verona - Venice. Bucintoro was a fantastic location, the room was super quality with a traditional nautical twist. Go for the corner rooms if you can with views back to St.Marks and directly to lagoon - 104,204,304 and 404. Breakfast was to die for in a fantastic environment.

The hotel was very close to the waterbus station Arsenale; very easy to get around Venice. It was very clean and nice. Excellent view. Not too busy but very close to main attractions.

Good place to stay in Venice

Posted 03-Jun-2014
Lovely view from the room and staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was nice and room was larger than expected which was a pleasant surprise. Good location with everything in walking distance and just out of the centre. If walking isn't your thing it is right near a water bus stop which gets you everywhere. The only down side was the air conditioning which was a bit temperamental however we did not alert the staff to it as opening the windows was enough with the temperatures in the 20's.

Excellent Hotel at a great location

Posted 29-May-2014
Pros: Location, finish and fittings, staff and overall service.
Cons: Not great deal.
Location: Great, 10 minutes from St. Mark's Square is no exaggeration. Plenty of good restaurants close by in all directions.
Had a junior suite for four nights. The room and bathroom were very nicely finished and all in excellent condition. Had a great view in two directions, towards St. Mark's Square and out into the lagoon. The continental breakfast was good and plentiful. Without exception the staff were friendly, helpful and efficient. Not the cheapest hotel in Venice but you undoubtedly get what you pay for.
