“Nice place”
We went to Venice for a cruise and booked this hotel for the location. It is directly across from the train station and two bridges from the bus stop. The hotel is on the Grand Canel and very niceVenice. Venice is just beatiful and relaxing.
“Great 1 night stopover”
I booked this hotel based on past guests reviews and it did live up to my expectations. I stayed there 1 night each before & after my cruises from Venice. Hotel is fairly close to airport (Euros $30 by taxi or E$5 if book hotel shuttle). Hotel also offers same shuttle to Venice main island. But since my flight was delayed, airport shuttle service ends at 10 pm so I had to pay for the expensive taxi fare. To/ from hotel - Venice cruise ship terminal, I took the train from Gaggio stop (about 10 min walk from hotel) and 4/5 stops to Venice Santa Lucia train station. Hauled my luggage over the stairs on the Constitution Bridge then took People Mover (E$1) to Marittima Cruise Ship Terminal. Because I travel with a small carry-on size luggage and a backpack, I walked back from cruise ship terminal to train station (about 15 min walk). Hotel rooms are 5* - large, clean, modern decor, comfy beddings, huge bathroom, fast but sometimes unreliable wifi. Great breakfast selection of warm & cold foods! There's a shopping mall down the street which has a food court and opens until 9 pm. The mall is a red/brown brick building with poor signage - hard to see with no shops logos in neon signs - almost looks like a government office or warehouse.
“It was okay...”
Check in was smooth, room bigger and better than majority of hotel rooms in Venice. Room air conditioning controlled by front reception, asked several times to turn the temp down to 21 from 26..was told it's " impossible" while the other staff member said it will be taken care...nothing was done, had to open windows middle of the night as it got unbearable. Breakfast is complimentary, nothing exceptional although lots of variety available.WIFI is also complimentary. Shuttle bus is available to airport for 5 euros and to Venice, reservations are recommended.
“Great overall experience with few things to consider”
We stayed in hotel for 4 nights and our experience was good overall Rooms very comfortable, hotel very clean, Breakfast included, quiet neighbourhood, good 2 restaurants around hotel, and a big shopping centre on 15 minutes walk. Things to consider: Too far from Venice about 20-25 minutes by Shuttle, Help desk service was unhelpful at times, restaurant in the hotel didnt let us in because it was only for groups dinner. last shuttle at 21:45 that means you cant stay in venice later than that coz taxi will charge you unimaginable price.
“Fantastic stay”
We were warmly greeted and although our first room had a mouldy smell, it was changed without question and we were given an even bigger suite. The hotel was well placed for Venive and had a shuttle, which saved on car parking. There were a couple of really good good places to eat nearby and so the general location was first class. I would recommend this hotel to anybody. The breakfast was great and it would be difficult to fault. We had a great time, thank you. I will be coming again.
“Great new Hotel near Venice Airport”
This is a new Hotel near Venice Airport. Everything is new and clean. The room is very spacious with modern high tech design. We had two large full size beds which are very comfortable. The receptionists are very friendly and helpful. They all speak good English. There is free wifi in the room which is great plus. There are many old hotel in Venice do not have internet connection at all. Breakfast is sufficient and it is included with the room. The location of the hotel is bit far from Venice but hotel provides shuttle buses with fee to and from Venice and airport. It works great for us and we don't have to pay high price old hotels in Venice but we still enjoy spent the day in Venice. We enjoy our stay and would recommend to others especially if you have an early flight out. This is a great hotel.
“Nice hotel, poor location”
This hotel was a pleasant end to a vacation. The facilities and the staff were very nice. They even provided me a "brown bag" breakfast to take to the airport for my very early morning departure. The only downside was the location. The closest place to eat out or shop is at a shopping mall, a 15 minute walk away through what appears to be a closing commercial area.
“Sleek Modern Euro Inn”
A bit out in the 'burbs but a very nice modern hotel, great continental breakfast and a 5€/head (cash) shuttle ride to airport. Rooms are clean, stylish, nice thick towels, robes, comfy big beds. Worth stressing that this is a few minutes level walk (~300m) from the Gaggio Porto Est. train station so if you're in Venice don't look for "Marcon" on the ticket machines. Oh and there is no ticket purchase at Gaggio, you have to buy your 1.85€ ticket back to Venizia Ferrovia from the Conductor onboard. Also a nice North American style modern shopping mall (Vale ??) a few minutes walk up the street - H&M, Benetton, McDonalds etc.
“Venice Airport Hotel Option”
I recommend contacting the hotel prior to arrival since they offer a 5 euro van ride that saves at least 20 euro on a taxi from the airport. Also a reasonable walk from Gaggio train station if traveling with minimal luggage.
“Venezia Hotel”
Excellent Hotel but to far away.
