I booked a room with a bath, because you always have to read the description of what you are booking, and the room was just what I needed. It was very clean, the staff was nice, I'd stay there again.

Hotel was old but well-maintained. The room was small, but comfortable. The staff was friendly, polite and helpful. Hotel is in a wonderful central location and very easy to walk to the different points of interest in Venice.

Location is perfect for Venice - everything is within a 5-10 minute walk. Also has water transportation nearby. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Stayed in a quad room and it was spacious with the other reviews accurately depicted the style and condition. Our room looked out over the canal which was really nice. Biggest issue for us was the change of season and AC not yet switched over making he room like an oven during the day and barely bearable overnight.

Very disappointing. The property is very run down. The halls have a foul odor, the A/C didn’t work, the room was in bad condition, there was black mold on the bathroom ceiling. Very noisy area late at night. We paid $500/night and it was shocking how bad it was

Great location
This hotel is a little rough around the edges, but it is a nice, central, and walkable location with a great staff for a low price. The room was comfortable, but the walls were thin. There was a woman that would talk on the phone for an hour or more each night and we could hear everything. The toilet had an issue where it would run continuously, which we were able to solve, and it did look like there might be a tiny amount of mold under one of the windows. It could probably be upkept more, but I am satisfied with our stay!

Poor Quality Stay
We booked 2 triple rooms to house my family. One room was obviously a smokers room and no amount of venting could get rid of the stench. The hotel manager was unable to change it. The other room had paper thin walls with all activity in adjacent rooms in clear earshot. Not great for the children! And being kept awake most of the night by a loud snorer just about capped things off. I cannot recommend this hotel despite its great location.

It is an old and charming building, very close to Rialto Bridge with easy access to Piazza San Marco and the commercial/shopping area. The staff is always present and very kind. Surrounded by many stores, restaurants and the enchanted Venetian channels. Good for the price.

Well located and pleasant staff. I booked the superior double room with canal view after seeing the photos online, but the room I received was not the same as the photos and I could only just see the canal looking sideways from the window which was disappointing. The room on the canal is apparently very noisy in the early morning due to boats passing. It's nice inside the hotel although the room didn't have proper curtains so as soon as it was light outside it was also light in the room

Dear anonymous customer. The superior room is exactly the one in which you have been accommodated or did you want a quadruple or triple room in the middle of the water together with the boats that are doing a very important service for the city of Venice? All our windows have shutters to protect from light and if you almost threw yourself out of the window to see the canal, didn't you notice them?

The room was perfect if you were only there to sleep in. Very small but has everything you need for a night or two. The bathroom didn't seem to be deep cleaned due to there being stale urine under the garbage can. My husband and I were honeymooning on a budget and this worked out perfectly aside from the issue above.

I would recommend
The location of the hotel was perfect, close to San Mark's Square but far enough for a good night sleep. Close to restaurants, caffes, and the best tiramisu place. The hotel was good, the staff was friendly and helpful. Overall, I would recommend.

Well located, weird surcharges, rude owners
It is perfectly located some 10min walk from Piazza San Marco and some 20min from the Vaporetto to Murano/Burano. We got charged 60€ more for our stay and wouldn't say why. They didn't want Hotels.com to know about it and they only took cash to cover it and not declare it... The main person attending, Giuseppe was quite rude towards his employees. We did not appreciate him being like that.

Very friendly hotel in an excellent location for exploring Venice. Room was small but fine for a couple of nights Unfortunately the air conditioning was not very functional so the room was very hot.

We loved our room at the corner, overlooking the canal - enjoyed the high ceilings and charm of the decor and enjoyed the foyer space outside the room with the large picture window open to the canal. Unmistakenly Venice. The washroom is adequate, functional, and not a highlight. New pillows are in order. Staff were helpful and friendly. Great location. Would recommend!

This simple hotel was perfect for our needs. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. Don't expect all the bells and whistles from a higher star hotel, this has what you need and nothing else. Situated just minutes walk from the centre of Saint Marco Square, it's fairly quiet. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly made us feel very welcome. If I return, and I probably will, I would definitely use them again.

Walking Distance from Rialto Ferry Station
Had a nice stay, extended by one day. Close to City Center and Rialto ferry stop - nice location! Easy to find. Accommodation was clean, check in and check out were pleasant. Walls are a bit thin and toddlers were in next room, but enjoyed the familiar sound of baby chatter. :)

Great location for exploring Venice.
The hotel is in a great location - a few mins from Rialto bridge and about 10 mins walk to Piazza San Marco. I stayed in room 105 which is a single room. The bathroom which was shared was across the hall. The shower sometimes fluctuated between hot & cold so be warned! There was a sink in my room which helped. The TV only had one Italian channel (poor signal meant there was nothing else available) - not that it really mattered to me. There was no kettle in the room. The room was very clean with nice decor. Free WiFi was very good. I don't know if it was just my room but the floor was on a slant. I felt like I was in a boat and often felt like I was going to roll out of bed! If I stayed again I'd choose a different room (with my own bathroom). The staff were very friendly and helpful.
