Excelente Hotel . Recomendable

Posted 24-May-2015
Pros: Todo
Cons: No creo

Excellent hotel in good location to explore Venice

Posted 21-May-2015
Pros: Location, facilities, comfort or room and public areas, courtesy and service provided by the team, all first class!
Location: Hotel shuttle to San Marcos,15 minutes, for the Square, Basilica, Palace, etc., explore on foot, or water bus, Grand Canal, Gondolas etc.
Good connections to the airport and a regular shuttle from the hotel to St. Marks for easy access to main places of interest in the center and the connection to the main hub of the city's excellent public transport system to explore the area. Hotel has excellent panoramic views across the city, particularly from the rooftop pool terrace or skyline bar. Prices are not cheap. but the quality and service is excellent so much as to be expected. We splashed out on an executive room for a special occasion which I would recommend if you want to push the boat out (pardon the pun). We hope to return to Venice again and would not hesitate to stay at the Hilton again and will certainly recommend the hotel to friends and family visiting Venice in the future. I would recommending pre-booking and paying for the Airport return transfer and water bus passes. We booked these before the visit and exchanged vouchers for tickets on arrival. Water bus service is very reliable, goes everywhere and is cheap! Water taxi or Gondolas are rather more costly, but very popular of course. We visited mid May, weather very good and temperature ideal for exploring or dining al fresco by the canals. Center can get very busy when cruise ship patties are doing the sights. Get up early and make the most of your visit, you will not regret it!

Dear Guest, thank you for taking the time to leave a review about our hotel. We are pleased you enjoyed your stay here. We are sorry you did not like the room size and view, I suggest you to book one of our Tower Suite for your next stay, it has plenty of space and beautiful views of the lagoon. We are sorry if you found our drinks expensive, I assure you that the prices are levelled with those of other 5-stars Luxury hotels in Venice. We look forward to welcoming you here Best regards Riccardo Ranzato Guest Relations Manager

L'hôtel est très bien placé, dans un endroit calme . Le rooftop permet de profiter d'une magnifique vue sur Venise. Les bateaux font de nombreux trajets entre la Giudecca et Zaterre.

So nice, I almost didn't leave the hotel!

Posted 29-Apr-2015
Pros: Everything really!
Cons: The price of food and drink - but I guess you expect this to increase in the hotel, it just seemed astronomical.
Location: Visit the islands, but beware of tourist traps - especially on Murano, where they will try to get you to spend thousands.
Gorgeous hotel, lovely staff, amazing views! The hotel was so nice, we could have been tempted to stay inside rather than go and explore Venice. My only recommendation would be to avoid paying for breakfast as 20 euros is very steep, plus you can get the same for about 5 euros down the road on the same island. The free shuttle bus to the main points of the islands was amazing - so helpful and convenient. The hotel is one of the stops on the public airport transfer bus, which is a huge help if you don't fancy tackling public transport straight after a flight.

Dear Guest, thank you for taking the time to leave a review about us. We are glad you enjoyed the hotel so much you did not want to leave. We are sorry if you found the breakfast expensive, however let me advise that nowehere in Venice you may find a breakfast with a buffet like ours at 5 euros, therefore 20 Euros is not steep at all, actually it is cheap considering that for 5 euros you will get (maybe) a pastry and a coffee in any bar in Venice. We are glad you enjoyed our location for the shuttle and the airport waterbus. We look forward to welcoming you back Best regards Riccardo RAnzato Guest Relations Manager

Great hotel, spectacular views.

Pros: Great rooms.Nice restaurants. GREAT STAFF.
Cons: Increase the frequency of the water shuttle during weekend peak times.
Location: Handy for all major attractions and the cruise terminal because of the shuttle.
The Stucky is an excellent choice for the sophisticated traveller. The location is ideal for both the city of Venice and the cruise terminal. The restaurants are excellent, especially the newly reopened Aromi. The hotel is only as good as its great staff and The Stucky are blessed with an excellent front office staff, a superb concierge, friendly room service, and above all....great restaurant staff.

Pros: Modern and food was fine
Cons: Air conditioning please. And staff attitude can be improved
Hotel was largely fine, but there was no air conditioning and room was facing west, making it very warm. We were told to open windows, but mosquitoes came in. We were bitten quite a few times, even when the repellent was on. Sleep quality was poor. Front desk staff were snobbish and not friendly.

Dear Guest, thank you for taking the tim eto write a review about our hotel. We are sorry if your room was warm, our Air Conditioning is not switched on yet as at the moment it is very cold in Venice. Normally the weather starts getting better in May, this is why normally in April the air conditioning is off. Venice is a lagoon, so unfortunately the mosquitoes problem is out of the hotel's control. This is why we provide the insect repellent in every room, we are sorry if it wasn't as effective as it normally is, however we can provide more on request. We are sorry if you consider our Front Desk staff "snobbish and not friendly", we assure you this is not the case as we only receive good reviews about all our staff and you can tell from all the positive reviews on several websites. However, I will pass your comment to the Front Desk manager to improve our service. We would like to have the opportunity to welcome you back to our hotel to show you our good service and good faith Thank you and best regards Riccardo Ranzato Guest Relations Manager

Could have easily been off the M6.....

Pros: Boat facility to central Venice works well. Staff very prepared to take order for food requirments in breakfast- once they stop having to rush around
Cons: See above.
Location: There are a few local restaurants, close to the hotel, that are more authentic and worth the short walk down the water front.
1st impressions count. In our room all 3 side lights did not work. The TV did not operate correctly. No glasses, no cups, no hairdryer (turned up after 3 requests). Plenty of midges. Bottled water arrived on 1 of the 4 days. Room was bland (apart from he lighting) and simply was not representative of Venice. Heated pool closed until May. This room was not a 5-star experience. TheHotel is aimed at the big corporates and the cruise lines. It really does not cater well for individuals who are travelling in their own right. Breakfast involved huge queues and having to go through to a 3rd room that was as bland as the bedroom. What a disappointing experience. If you want to really "feel" Venice in a 5-star hotel, find one on the mainland.
