“Excellent Hotel!!!!”

If you like luxury and great views this is the Hotel you should stay when in Venice. The only downside is that you have to take the boat to go to St. Marks square and the rest of Venice since it is on the other side. the boat is complimentary though. The rest is excellent, the rooftop bar is superb and the restaunat Di Roma (I guess that's the name) is excellent. Compared to Cipriani and the Bauer House this is the best.

“a very enjoyable stay”

The staff at the Molino Stucky were universally friendly and helpful and the hotel itself was lovely. Our room had a canal view and was well appointed. It was a little noisy in the evening as beneath the bar, but this closed at 11pm. Our spa room was unavailable so we were offered a canal view room, free breakfast and access to the executive club bar with free drinks and snacks - were were very happy with this arrangement. The breakfast was particularly good.

“Great 5 days in Venice!”

We stayed at the Molino Stucky hotel in mid August 2007. We could not fault the hotel at all apart from the price of the breakfast and restaurant (we didn't eat at either!). This is obviously understandable for a 5 star hotel however. I think we got a 'cheapish' deal with flights so were really happy with our stay and could not fault anything at all really. The pool and views from the pool were fabulous and the service very good. If you choose to stay here I am sure you will not be disappointed. Additionally, if you like your sleep, the blackout curtains were really useful as you couldn't tell what time of day it was at all when they were closed! Venice is a great place but I would recommend at least 4 or 5 days if you are visiting on holiday. Also, other half got bitten by mozzies!

“fabulous renovation”

Great hotel. All the staff are polite and want to please. The restaurant on the terrace is fantastic, a great spot on a warm evening & worth every penny. It's a shame the musician outside plays an electric keyboard when there is a beautiful grand piano in the bar which I only ever heard a hotel guest play. Cocktails in the roof top bar are great and lovely to look over to downtown Venice which is always busy. The shuttle boat operates every 20 minutes. You will receive a timetable when you check in. The hotel is perfectly located on Giudecca, which is a quiet island & away from all the thousands of tourists. Book your sunlounger if you plan to spend a few hours by the roof top pool. Be mindful of the mini bar as it is computerized so if you put your drinks in & jiggle their drinks around you will find that your mini bar bill will be incorrect when you come to pay. The rooms are immaculate & cleaning second to none. I would definately return.

“It's a Hilton but a good one.”

As a new hotel I can't fault the finish, the staff and the facilities. It is a Hilton though - even down to the buffet breakfast - which is expensive - I certainly can't eat that much to justify the fixed price. It is suffering from teething problems. We had two rooms both of which suffered from intermittent hot water availability - cold more than hot but sometimes too hot and no cold. It was reported but being intermittent, not resolved. The pool has a booking system for sunbeds which is seriously flawed. Sunbeds, once reserved, often remain unused and on our first visit we were give a towel and ended up sitting on the concrete next to the unused sunbeds. We only used the pool twice in five days but the views are fabulous so worth riding the lift to the 8th floor at least once. The tiles can be slippery when wet if you take children who like to run. The hotel's boat shuttle is excellent - always on time and running early till late - the second stop off delivering you at St Marks Square but worth getting off at the first stop where it is less busy and a short walk through squares to San Stefano, Rialto and Academia.

“Excellent Choice”

This is a first rate hotel, modern and well-appointed. We had Room 328. Excellent bathroom and shower stall. Completely satisfied. Free shuttle to St. Mark's Square is a definite plus, runs twice per hour.

“The Fabulous NEW Venice Hilton”

For our 25th Wedding Anniversary we chose the Venice Stucky Hilton. A most luxurious hotel with a very calm atmospeare, wonderful health spa, good food, and your own motor launch to take you over to St Marc Sq. Only problem was that my wife had a flu virus---but at no extra charge the hotel allowed us extra time in our room before going back to Marco Polo Airport---where the BA Flight was 3.5 Hrs late--yes we would go back to the Stucky
