“Club Hotel - Mestre”
This hotel was very over-priced for the quality of what you get. I would not recommend it to other travelers.
“Club Hotel big thumbs up”
Upon arrival the front desk guy couldn't have been more helpful. Really friendly, smiley and gave us all the info plus a lot more than we wanted. Recommended a super Italian restaurant only 10 min walk from the hotel with the best pizza we've ever tried. The hotel was just perfect.
“Great Hotel Staff”
The air conditioner was broken during our stay, making the room a bit uncomfortable, but the lobby was cool and breezy. The beds weren't the most comfortable, and you could only use the internet in the hotel lobby. You also have to pay by the hour to use that internet. However, the staff was more than helpful, doing their best to answer all our questions and concerns even when they didn't involve the hotel at all. The room was kept clean and tidy, and the hotel was overall very aesthetically pleasing.
“Great for the budget traveler”
The hotel is a little out of the way, and its quite a trek from the No. 15 (Airport to Mestre) bus stop to the hotel. However, the bus to Venice (No. 2) leaves right from outside the hotel every 30 mins, and costs a brilliant 1.20 Euros! The hotel was pleasant with helpful, english-speaking staff. Breakfast was simple but plentiful. The rooms were spacious and comfortable for the price we payed, but the facilities were lacking (very small tv, no tea and coffee). If you're on a very tight budget, and don't mind commuting to Venice, this place does the job nicely.
“A bit distance from Venice, but very much manageable for the money paid”
There is bus service from hotel right to the island. It takes 15 minutes to reach the island. Area around hotel is quite and perfect for getting good nights rest. Service was great.
“Very good deal”
We spent 3 nights at the Club Hotel, staff was very helpful and there is excellent bus connections to Venice for 1.10 Euro. If you have been to Europe before and stayed in smaller hotels before it should be what you expect. Breakfast is basic but adequate. Overall good value for money. If you are looking for 4 star accomodations this is not the place, but if you want good value and a place to sleep this is a great hotel.
“Avoid !”
We recently spent 4 nights in the Club Hotel in Mestre, I'd like to start with a plus point; the shower was ok, that's it ! The room was small and the air conditioning didn't work. There is no fridge in the rooms despite what the ad's say. There was no form of internet access contrary to what is advertised. The bed sheets were not changed during our stay. Curtains and shelves were dusty. No privacy with the curtains open due to the flats about 4 meters away from our window. The bathroom hairdryer resembled a 1950's hoover attachment and had one setting, ultra hot. Breakfast consisted of a coffee, some powdered fruit drink a slice of salami and a slice of cheese, completely inadequate. Venice is an amazing city but don't bother with the club hotel.
“very good hotel for short stay.”
we went to this hotel for 4 nights, the only problem was, when we reached there about 4pm.the man on the desk spoke no english but understood everything i said and booked us in and was very helpful. The best way to see VENICE is to buy a Venice Connected pass before you go.Get the pass PNR online and when you reach Venice get the actual pass from the airport office of venice connected. This pass is very good value for money. you can use this pass on any ACTV local buses and all ACTV boats. We travelled to all the venice islands and MESTRE buses. You cannot use this pass on ATVO buses. The 3 day pass cost us about 23 pounds for 3 days. This you can easily spend in 1 day if travel and use different boats and buses. The man in TABBACHI shop near the hotel is very good and very helpful. The LIDL shop is very handy, we used it everyday.
“Sehr gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis”
Freundliches Service. Gutes Frühstück, Busstation nach Venedig direkt vorm Hotel. Sauber und korrekt.
“avis club hotel”
