“Lovely Boutique Hotel”

Just spent two nights in this wonderful hotel. We paid for a superior double and were very impressed with the size of the room (especially for Venice), we also loved the decor which is just as it appears on their website. You can clearly see that someone has put a lot of love and effort into making the hotel a special place. Buffet continental breakfast was excellent with a wide variety of fresh local produce on offer. The location is faultless, near to all the main attractions yet very quiet and tranquil. Staff were friendly, efficient and extremely helpful. We arrived in late one evening and they kindly made us up a food platter of meats and cheeses at no cost. Overall it was the best place we have ever stayed!

“You couldn't do better when staying in Venice”

If you plan on visiting Venice and want to stay right in the city center this is the hotel to stay at. Greatsmall hotel with intimate feel in a quite area of the city. The staff was very friendly and made great suggestions for resturants and areas to visit. Hotel and room were spotless and room was very quite and comfortable. We arrived early and staff was accomodating to hold luggage until the room was ready. I would recommend the Ad Place to anyone coming to Venice. Location wa sgreat, 10 minute walk to St Marks square and Basilica, near all major canals and water transport.

“Fantastic location, gondolas passing by the bedroom window....”

This hotel has a fantastic location, very close to St Mark's Square and in five minutes' walk of the Grand Canal. Staff were very friendly and helpful with restaurant recommendations. Our room was large, clean, modern and beautifully furnished with a separate seating area and a fab view onto a side-canal that has lots of gondoliers going past singing - a really magical experience. Breakfast was buffet-style with lots of choice and went on until 10.30am which was great for a relaxing break. Wi-fi worked well and was fast. I thought the location, atmosphere and value for money were great. If I were forced to make any criticisms, and they would be minor, it's that there weren't many tables for breakfast so if it's busy you might have to wait a few minutes (there's a sofa area so it's not exactly a hardship, it just seems a bit silly not to have a few more tables rather than the sofa!) and we weren't given any info about little things like how to access the free wi-fi, where and when breakfast would be so we had to ask. These are only very minor quibbles though - we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the staff were very welcoming and helpful with our touristy questions!

“Faultless hotel in superb area”

Title says it all; just superb. Great location for all the major (and minor) sights all accessible within 20 mins walk. Hotel receptionists all very polite, friendly and knowledgeable, they bend over backwards to help out; Alessandro deserves a particular mention. Although breakfast area a little small for some guests, there is plenty of food and drinking options in large amounts. Room was of a good size, VERY comfortable bed and a HUGE bathroom all contributed to a very comfortable stay. Ideally suited to couples or single travelers young or old, however, a family was accommodated whilst we were there. No restaurant but a small and intimate terrace makes for a romantic evening for drinks. All in all, a superb hotel in a great location and a very enjoyable stay.

“Gorgeous hotel!”

Ad place is gorgeously decorated and has great sized rooms, helpful and friendly staff and a wonderful location for the Venice street wander. I would definitely recommend it!

“Location and Staff was very good....Alexander was always there to help with a smile.”

The hotel staff was very friendly and ready to help at anytime with any small thing. They told us good restaurents to try and the best place to buy mask. I would like to Thank Alexander who was at the front desk during the day and was always there to answer any questions of help. He also upgraded us to a bigger room and had a view of Gandolla's passing under our room window. Hotel location was very good..2min. to Water taxi..5min. walking to Piazza and above all the staff and Alexander were best. I will highly recommend this hotel.

“Great Boutique Hotel”

Great small boutique hotel. Breakfast was very nice and rooms are eclectic but very cool. We enjoyed so much and would stay again. Staff so friendly and accomodating.

“Boutique with Great Location!”

This is a classic boutique hotel located in a fantastic spot in San Marco, just in the area of the famous Gritti Hotel. St Marks square is a five minute walk. There appear to be two classes of room, classic and economy, we had chance to experience both. Neither are large and the latter extremely small but this is Venice. We booked this hotel on previous reviews of the substantial breakfast 'American style' hot buffet. That has now gone, there is a continental breakfast accompanied by a chopped omelette that is a take on scrambled eggs. There are very limited facilities in the hotel because of its size. The most important thing is its location that cannot be faulted.
