“Excellent experience”

Room was very nice with pleasant english-speaking staff. Room was very well kept and European-sized. European breakfast buffet was well maintained and setting comfortable. Located right on the pedestrian area it was a great experience.

Area recommendations

Pedestrian area and Industrial museum were highlights of our stay.

“Great historic building, lousy hotel.”

Hotel location, pictures and description had set expectations for a stay quite high. The hotel main building definitely lived up to expectations. However the rooms are in newer buildings built in - i suppose, the 1970'ties behind the main hotel building, and contain very cramped rooms, overlooking an alley with dumpsters from the restaurants. Definitely not matching the pictures or description on the hotel website. We ordered a standard room with a double bed, but was presented with a VERY basic room with two single beds. Upon complaining (and waiting 10minutes for the receptionist to return) we where moved to what they claimed was the only available alternative: a standard double smoking room in the far back of the hotel. Staff not exactly welcoming and no excuses offered for failure to live up to the booking. Will definitely not recommend this hotel.

“hyggeligt hotel med skøn morgenbuffet”

Var på Jørgensens Hotel i Horsens i oktober 2011. Charmerende hotel i gammel stil. Værelset udmærket og med pæne, stilrene møbler. Dejlig morgenbuffet begge dage til absolut rimelig pris. Rigtig venligt og imødekommende personale.

Area recommendations

Vi var ikke så meget i selve Horsens. Gik dog en tur på gågaden, men tog til Århus, hvor vi så den Gamle By.

“Inmitten der Fussgängerzone.”

Hier handelt es sich um ein gut geführtes, aber an der Fassad erkentlich, altes dänisches Hotel. Service, Zimmer usw. war I.O.

Area recommendations

Für diesen Aufenthalt benötige ich von Expedias noch eine Rechnung, da ich das Hotel über meine Spesenabrechnung mit der Firma abrechnen muss. Besten Dank im Voraus.
